He even allowed warriors from the revolting forces to go home or join him with no consequences for them. But the rebel leaders saw that as a threat to their cause and tortured several hundred prisoners to death. From then on, he would show no mercy anymore and take no prisoners.
One thing I have learned from Oversimified: if you win a war, don't force the losers to meet completely unattainable demands, unless you want a part two to your war.

I've just recently given this channel a chance after it appearing in my recommendeds for like 2 years, and Over's voice work has improved as much as his animation. He's gotten really talented at being different characters without really giving them different voices. Also impressed at how grim and funny things can get yet Over hardly swears.

I'd like to add that Hannibal did not actually directly lose 70k men when he crossed the alps. For example, he left 20000 men in southern gaul to garrison it, he also sent home 10k men to strengthen the defense of spain against Scipio.
