  • I woke up extremely early and the dawn already announced a cloudy and very fresh day to start hunting for fossils. The area is more or less known, however there are still many areas to be explored in terms of fossils. And I had spent some time researching some points of interest online that could be potential places to discover new specimens to enrich the collection. I found some very interesting things and the place has a very long and unknown history...
I still managed to bring some very interesting specimens...

Outstanding finds. The two you found do indeed look like worm colonies. I haven't seen anything like those 2 fossils either. Your other pieces are also wonderful. I really enjoyed your exploring the stones on that old house. I agree that the stones should not be disturbed.
Things like that are exciting and should be left for future explorers. The grave area was also worth looking over. I don't like it when scientists rob graves. Old old houses and graves should be left for others to discover and enjoy.
Back in my home state Idaho there are many very old graveyards. People take paper and charcoal and do what they call rubbings. They can get a copy of the marker without destroying it. That way they can study the history of the area and leave it for others to find and study.
I am also happy the hurricane Dora missed you. I think it hit Spain.
Thank you so very much my dear friend for taking us along on your adventure. I really enjoyed it. I am hoping my joints in my hips will ease up so I can go hunting. I think it has been the heat. I read where excessive heat makes your arthritis worse than the cold. Much love to you and your wife. 🙃☕❤❤❤❤😘😘😍🐚🐚

Hello my friend! I haven't seen your comment yet.
I don't know how it escaped me... well, I'm really glad you liked the video and yes, I also agree that there are things we shouldn't change to leave for future generations. Looking at that house, I felt a little sad, because I can even imagine the sacrifices and hard work in the field that must have been necessary to build such a house in such a remote place. If walls could talk, they would certainly have lots of stories to tell. Also, there are times when I feel like I feel something, some spirit or something that tells me not to disturb or move anything in that place. And so I obey, I take some nice pictures and then I go on my way. And I'm usually always rewarded later. This time it was that fossilized cluster of worms. Very interesting and I didn't have anything like it in my collection.
Kisses and hugs. hope you get better soon!😘😘😘😄👍👍🐚🐚🦖 🦕🌿🌳🌳

@@zejurassico thank you my dear friend. I did feel better yesterday. When I took Cookie for her walk I made it down the drive way and even down the road a bit. My hips hurt a bit but, my legs felt stronger. I found 3 small stones for tumbling. I also found a piece that looker like part of a gastropod. It was like a slice off a side. Sadly not enough to really tell. It would have been very big if it was even half of one.
One of the pieces I found kinda looks like a piece of bone not to sure though. It's so hard to tell as the rocks go through a crusher so I find many bits 💔.
Now it's fall here I think I might enjoy being outside again. The summer heat kept me in as the 35C plus or 100F plus temperatures were way to much for me.
But, now we are getting into the 80F or 25C outside is easier for me.
So maybe soon I will find a new fossil to show you. ❤❤❤❤❤😘😘😘

Thank you again for the trip through the countryside along with the local history! When I was younger I also got up early to beat the heat and to get to fossil sites first but now not so much.I think the other two posts have pointed out what the odd fossils are as they are some species of worm tubes, probably attached to the oysters also visible .Keep up the enjoyable videos, cooler weather is not far away. Maybe collecting will get easier.😀

Hello my friend! Nice to hear from you. I'm super happy that you liked my video, sometimes I think that I should cut some parts to make the video smaller, but I tend to belive that some people, like you, enjoy some of the other stuff that I run to when I'm searching for fossils and I guess I'm not wrong. Hehehe!😊 I guess next week the weather is going to change and we are going to have some nice rain finally. Let's just hope that it rains for a few days because we have a major draught where in Portugal. Thanks for the support my friend!! 😊👍👍👍🙏🦕🦖🦖🦖

21:57 I think it could be some kind of tube worm fossil or something, although I'm unsure.

I saw some pieces in varying sizes like this in Mexico a couple of weeks ago. I believed them to be some type of petrified coral.

I must say it again outstanding find. None of the pictures I saw were as good as your fossil worms 🙃☕❤❤❤

Thanks my dear friend! So many years doing fossil hunting and I never found anything alike. That's the beauty of fossil hunting we never know what we are going to find. Thanks with the help of the name! 😘😘👍🙏🦕🦖🦕

@@zejurassico I have read many of the early fossils may have been lost. If the conditions weren't right to preserve the bones or shells like all things they return to dust. Still there is so much to learn. Congratulations on your new fossils. ❤😘😍🐚
