Great video. Don't mind the negative comments. I know when you're explaining something live, you can switch words and/or ideas. I learned how to use the functions I need for my church.
Awesome video. I work at one of my states top 2 venues and we have this console handling concerts and sports. I'm used to other boards but this video has me more comfortable on this specific one. Gonna send to the newer guys too
Very helpful. I’ve been intimidated by our M7CL, so I tend to not touch things, especially in EQ. Now I can’t wait to play around during sound checks. Would have liked to see more on the 4 stereo channels. We use three of them for reverb.
Sorry I can't help you out. I shot the video and did the editing, not the pro on this board. Glad you liked it. Please give a thumbs up if you haven't already. Thanks.
A really helpful video for showing you around the M7, but please take everything this man says with a pinch of salt! So many of the statements he makes about audio processing in general are totally wrong, but not harmful for beginners if you are just aware of it. Take it as a ‘what’s where’ for the M7, but be sceptical on his general advice.
I don't think he properly describing the "mute groups" or "user defined keys" well because the mixer I am working has user defined keys already and they are not mute groups.
They are "user defined" in that the user can define what they want them to be. Some people will set them up as mute groups, some as tap tempo buttons etc. or any mix of things.
Most patient trainer in the world.

Glad this helps. Thanks for the positive feedback.

When explaining the low pass at 9:00, he has the band set for shelving, not LPF.
Help me how to open it
All was awesome. QUESTION? Could you explain further on what is "MIX1-8" and "MIX-9-16" functions?
Sorry I can't help you out. I shot the video and did the editing, not the pro on this board. Glad you liked it. Please give a thumbs up if you haven't already. Thanks.
DCAs at 34:00: DCAs affect only Post Fader aux sends, which monitor sends will seldom - if ever - be.
Matrixes at 46:00. DCAs cannot be routed to the DCAs - subgroups, L/R/M, and channels can be.
Would be kool to have a picture to represent the instrument I'm using.
I have it in church now an gating agood lation
I maybe working something simular at an NBA basket ball game. Does anyone know if this is what they use?

TOTALLY wrong ? Any examples please ?

bAdDA5z You can create the User Defined Keys to be Mute Groups in the Settings

I learned more an 36:00
and 11:59
