Kaede means maple in Japanese you mean. Maple means maple in English.

Bofuri comes from the full name of the novel: Itai no wa Iya nano de *Bō* gyoryoku ni Kyoku *furi* Shitai to Omoimasu. It's similar to Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! Being abreviated to Konosuba.
Her real life name is Kaede, which is Japanese for maple, so for her character name, she picked Maple
This game is relatively new that's why not all component of it is well known. For example the skill [devour] it was infinite before but the dev nerf it down to 10 use/day cause of how OP that is. And one more thing to remind u guys, Risa/sally is a pro gamer but like u said she decide to follow Maple with her unconventional play style (focus on Agi) just to have fun with her best friend. If Maple is OP because of her luck on gaining skills, Sally is a pure skilled player. And yes sally's fights are the best since she move a lot
Actually, Sally did mostly AGI. she does have some STR. Still is an unconventional setup as a lot of others questioned how well it works.
In fact, hardcore stat focus in one or two directions could work, assuming you find the right skills to back it up. Players looked into that a lot, but couldn't figure out how to make it work.
They told her not to go in the cave because any normal newbie her lvl would get wasted there! They didnt know she had a massive defense bonus and also poison resist skills.
this show only gets better and better each episode and the visuals are really good in this show which is one part of why this show is good
I noticed several reactions where this is the case but the Kaede/Maple was embarrassed because she screwed up the end of her sentence, not the phrasing, and the guys were blushing because of the same reason. She basically lisp'd the last part of her sentence hence why one of the guys asked "Did she just trip over her tongue?"

I actually did what Maple-Chan did. I maxed out my Strength in The Outerworlds Before I knew it I was One Punching monsters all over the place
A few games, I did like Saly and went speed focused. Having insane hitcounts and dodge rates is nuts
In Genshin Impact I racked up 4k defense on Noelle and the fact that her c6 turns her DEF into damage scaling means she's turned into an absolute monster. I love DEF scaling into attack in video games because you can just do what Maple does and become an unstoppable tank
@@HaibaneRakka571 a few games I played allow you to tank damage like a champ without even stacking defense. You instead stack raw damage cut or HP.
enough of it makes damage taken so pitiful that it doesn't matter, or flat out prevents damage at all

The game maple play still new,that's the reason why maple can learn rare skills quickly with a certain condition.you can look how the game developer reacts to maple development.maple's skill is infinite but the developer feel it's unfair,so they make devour skill have limitation.
Lmao just imagine the quality of VR games in reality are like the ones on anime........

To be fair, 10 one-hit kill's a day is still pretty sweet. Plus as mentioned in the relevant episode, if she kept devouring everything she would never acquire various skills gained from defending against enemy attacks.

Maple got her power set and armor because she accomplished very specific requirements. Her armor and powers were not meant to be acquired until much letter in the game.
To get her armor one had to fight the hydra alone, and beat at the first try using hp absorption attacks (eating counts as hp absorption for some reason).
Devoure allowes her to convert the ebemies she defeats into magic points for her magic attacks.
Her name is Kaede and her friend is named Risa

I think games are different now, but back in some of the old school games they were called Pures. In PVP Pures were a bitch to defeat because they maxed out only one combat skill and used equipment built around that idea. So it, at the very least used to be an effective strategy.
I feel like @AdorkableNerd would max out Intelligence in like Fallout or something 😂🧠😂🧠😂
Whoever made the game has never tested it 'coz Shield Loli is waaaay too broken.
I wouldn't say never. It's hard to test an MMO on a large scale, but it's impossible to test everything. So many gamers are notorious for trying things in such unorthodox ways that you can't test every single aspect. It's likely the eating mechanic was a funny haha they never expected to turn out like it did.
