I relate to this song with tears in My eyes. My Dad just up and left My Mom the day I was born 56 years ago. He never was around when needed or wanted. I vagely remember him when I was a todler but when I did meet him at 19 it was not great, I went to his house for a week and out of that week I actually saw him three times. I would wake up to a 20 dollar bill layin on the coffee table and a note sayin go to 7/11 and get what you want, I will be back later at the bar if ya need me. 2 years later I ended up in trouble with the law and spent 15 years in prison. 1 year after I went to prison He passed away leaving nothing but in return I felt No Loss No Remorse. Like 2Pac said [ I Couldnt Feel For A Stranger] and that is My fault Hell Nah. I find myself thinkin a lot of My past and sometimes think I am A Full Time Loser, But I lived My life the best I could and can and with that I push to overcome the Negative with the positive and some how with the Grace of The Almighty Upstairs I find My answers. OMG 🥺 This song hit home with me. I had to go though the same at school with teacher's asking me that question too. Him a machinist by trade, learned in CC's and Navy. I was his helper in working on car's from an early age, learned by handing him tools, and my last job was for years as a carpenter ( I'm a gal ). We had old log cabin of my great grandma's at the end of the holler we fixed up together...had us some shining time's. Hard to listen to your own life in a song. Brings back alot of memories, some good some bad but I guess mostly just the truth. Truth is something that's really hard to come by but we all face it everyday in our lives. I'm a lot older now and I understand a lot of the things that brought me to the place in life I'm in now. But it sounds like this that make you realize that you're not the only one and you won't be the last. One thing that I do know is this song brings me back to a place I wish I could go back to. Now this song actually brought tears to my eyes cause I actually felt the word's. Been to prison, made mistakes, I've always thought of myself as a full time loser. Now I have kids and I don't want my kids to know that part about my life. And I'm worried they might think of me as a full time loser one day if they find out. That's what brings tears to my eyes.
Your kids will not see you as a loser as long as you are there for them and show them love our past is just that. I'm the father too 6 my youngest 3 I'm raising myself. I've done a lil time and spent a lot in and out of county I gave all that up 9yrs ago. I unfortunately lost one kid because of the chooses I made. Her mom got busted when I was away and gave her up for adoption with out telling me now she's nearly 19 another one of my kids was born 3 months before I went down. After getting out I still made some bad chooses and had four more kids but I woke up and about 9yrs ago said enough is enough I don't want my kids going down this road my youngest 3 are too young to remember most of it but I'm open to my kids about everything. I'm hoping with being honest and open and also showing them were some old friends are now because they continue to do the same old crap they will learn from our mistakes and go a different direction.

Hard to listen to your own life in a song. Brings back alot of memories, some good some bad but I guess mostly just the truth. Truth is something that's really hard to come by but we all face it everyday in our lives. I'm a lot older now and I understand a lot of the things that brought me to the place in life I'm in now. But it sounds like this that make you realize that you're not the only one and you won't be the last. One thing that I do know is this song brings me back to a place I wish I could go back to. Great song by great person may god look out for all of us.

I'm a single father I have 4 kids 2 boys and a girl with one woman I spent almost 15 years with and a daughter with a different woman I have equal custody of the 3 and also get my other daughter part time ❤️. Now this song actually brought tears to my eyes cause I actually felt the word's. Been to prison, made mistakes, I've always thought of myself as a full time loser. Now I have kids and I don't want my kids to know that part about my life. And I'm worried they might think of me as a full time loser one day if they find out. That's what brings tears to my eyes.
Your kids will not see you as a loser as long as you are there for them and show them love our past is just that. I'm the father too 6 my youngest 3 I'm raising myself. I've done a lil time and spent a lot in and out of county I gave all that up 9yrs ago. I unfortunately lost one kid because of the chooses I made. Her mom got busted when I was away and gave her up for adoption with out telling me now she's nearly 19 another one of my kids was born 3 months before I went down. After getting out I still made some bad chooses and had four more kids but I woke up and about 9yrs ago said enough is enough I don't want my kids going down this road my youngest 3 are too young to remember most of it but I'm open to my kids about everything. I'm hoping with being honest and open and also showing them were some old friends are now because they continue to do the same old crap they will learn from our mistakes and go a different direction.
