If you'd want to make it a bit more idle, you could put a small layer of white plastic between the letters and the LED, so it will cover the direct light

for someone who has alot of experience at typing in keyboards, i dont think this would be that much of a problem as long as you memorize where the keys are

Even if we keep the costs aside, the leds are not intended to flash directly at our eyes. Thats why its called backlit. Back light should be ambient, not flashing straight into our eyes.... And most importantly, you cannot use this keyboard in darkness cuz its not backlit. You would still need room lighting to see the keys.
This feels like you spoke like the artist/you tuber Gawx art but other than that, nice art man, keep on going and don’t give up.

Somehow, I wound up watching this (honestly, can't remember the path which led me here). I found myself fascinated. I never knew, until this moment, that my brain is interested in this type of thing. It reminded me of helping my grandfather, when I was little. When you were doing something, I kinda wanted to do it, too. Then, I worried about the paint drying on the rainy balcony (lol).
