Imagine if they relaunched this campaign to mock the marketing team that got them into their current mess. That's the only thing that can save them at this point
That unironically could actually work. just look at how Carl's Jr found a way to account for their tasteless sexual marketing campaigns throughout the 2000s. They owned up to it rather than sweeping it under the rug, and it was funny. Reviving this campaign - "this one's for you, Over-enthusiastic Woke Marketing Employee!", alongside ribbing some other contemporary political stereotypes from both sides - could definitely bring the brand back down to earth. It could be a really wholesome way to say, at the end of the day we just want you to buy our sh*tty beer.
