Love these videos you make. I appreciate the research you do and all the facts presented. Truly professional. Its more of a documentary then a opinion piece. I do have a few questions. Do you know the cost of this PC 3000-6 when it was new. Are they still being manufactured, and if so, what are they worth now. I apologize for lack of a question marks. My keyboard tabs for punctuation seems to be malfunctioning. Rob
Outstanding job on this video documentary!!! Very Informative as well as entertaining.I also appreciate that you are always spot on with the technical specifications.Thank You Sir.
Thank you l appreciate it! I would say it's about half. Though backhoes have been becoming more popular in the industry today. It really comes down to operator preference and the application for the machine.
PAmining it definitely looks well maintained for 7500 hours. I’ve worked on machines with less than that and they looked as though they’ve never seen a pressure washer.
Great info. Was curious about the travel motors though…they are not really well protected like they are on most other large mining excavators (Cat 5230, Liebherr 9250 or even smaller excavators for that matter). Is that something specific to this model? Thanks!
@@PAmining Gotcha. I also watched you excellent review of the PC5500 and those too seemed not to have covers on them either, which printed my question. Thanks for the quick response! Lastly, don’t suppose you’ve seen a Liebherr R9800 up close at any of the mines you’ve visited? I know many are in AU and figured maybe might be 1 or 2 in the US?
Thank you for the documentary as always and for all the hard work necessary to do it
You're very welcome and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it!
Thank you very much for your always great explanations! For me as a German it is sad, succesful well known companies are sold: O&K, Demag.
It is sad that those names have vanished from the industry. But, the KMG machines are still stamped "Made in Germany" :) Thanks friend!
Many thanks for this tour of the Komatsu PC3000-6 👍 😎
Great video I always enjoy watching your videos thanks for posting this !
Thank you! Glad you still enjoy them!
I was waiting for this review. Pc3000 has always been my favourite to operate.
Thank you again for your efforts and hard work to make these excellent productions
Your welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic Justin, another superb performance with my favorite comment "Lets go inside and check out the operators cab"
Hahahaha, well thanks! Keeps people engaged
Excellent video as always Sir. Thanks for posting.

Your welcome and I'm glad you enjoyed and learned a lot from it!
Very informative, thanks for posting.
wow almost new, very little grease on it, great video
Fantastic video.
That is really an awesome machine!
Excellent as always!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Your equipment reviews are some of the best. Question... are there more front shovel or backhoe configured excavators working in mines today?
Thank you l appreciate it! I would say it's about half. Though backhoes have been becoming more popular in the industry today. It really comes down to operator preference and the application for the machine.
Thank you for this informative videos...
A nice clean machine.
Komatsu is discontinuing the pc3000 (probably) with the introduction of the pc3400
From what I've read the PC3400 is going to be a completely new model and not a replacement for the 3000. However, time will tell
not a bad office for the day is she? and well looked after too.
Great video, as usual. One question - what is the purpose of the red light mounted on the side of the computer screen console?
Thank you! That is the warning light for the fire suppression system.
Nice one❤
How many hours on her? Very clean machine. Nice! What size truck does it load? Love your videos! Keep up the excellent job you do!
Thank you! Currently 15,000. At the time of filming probably half that

👍👍
Another great video Justin! At this particular mine did this machine replace dragline or is it used in conjunction with it ?
No dragline at this mine and this particular machine was purchased to increase production from a PC2000. Thanks!
1.5 mph thats pretty fast 😁😁😁
I want to hollow one out and live in it.
Wow❤
That is so nice Sir 👌🏼👍🏻

I believe the motor covers were optional when this unit was ordered. Today I'm pretty sure covers are standard

Impressive
Whats the fuel efficiency? How much/hour sir?
60 gallon per hour. Thanks!
Thank you! What is the burn rate of that 1190 of the fuel?
Typically smaller hoes are for one shift. This may be the same. Unless it’s 24hrs vs 12hr.
60 GPH when production loading. Thanks!
what are the chains that dangle under the engine area?
Those are to raise or lower the service fluid filling station. Thanks!
The thumb nail looks like a toy
