Love these documentary videos. I was just watching some older ones. Have learned so much over the years.
Well thank you I'm glad you enjoy them. Though the old ones are not as good imo! Haha
Yet another great walk round Justin. Thank you. The RH 120 is still my favorite of all time.
Starting in 2005 we ended up with a fleet 5 120E;s in both backhoe and front shovel configuration along with a 170 E shovel at our mine in West central Alberta Canada .Moved a lot of material over their lifetime.
Yes very good machines!
Excellent documentary very informative 👍👍👍
The RH120C/E was by far the most common prime mover in the UK opencast coal mines...
A legend in the UK! There were a few RH120s in the Appalachian coal fields here in the US as well. Thank you! :)
Another Awesome video as always! I really like your format and presentation. No time is wasted with intros, off topic chat and nonsense talk. Please don't ever change it. Love it
Thank you! I won't lol. I like to stick with the facts and let the opinions for the fans and operators to chin in about.
You don't realise how big these machines are until you see them close up,you walking around inside gave it some decent scale though.
Agreed. It is difficult to show scale in a video. I try my best to give views that can kinda demonstrate size. Thanks!
Another great one keep it up man love your knowledge of these machines
Thank you, glad you enjoyed bit :)
Like #51. The Terex digging spindle is a 3 point plow hitch designed by Harry Ferguson Tractor Co in the UK in 1939. I see the engine bay has the Terex Ty Rap door holder option, hahaha
OW KAY... Best video entrance ever.
I really love your informative Videos .. THANKS ❤❤👍👍🌹🌹😍😍
a classic. great video of a great series of machines, all I need now is a 1/50th one for my collection......
I agree. I don't like the Conrad 120E as it's basically a repainted 120C. Thanks!
TEREX o rei da terra equipamento top 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Excellent machines!
Good tour. Wished Bucyrus had kept them. Thanks, Pal!
beautiful video
You're living in a mining dreamland! 😀 Sadly, the old O&K factories, now owned by CAT will be closed soon for ever. 😑
Your channel is really good 👍
Well thank you, glad you enjoy it!
Great Machines !
Amazing
Woow super big digger machine😲👍👍
Nice review justin . I have seen a rh40 in the front shovel configuration and it was a rough excavator. But nothing is rougher than a rh30 and cat 245
I have seen an RH30 but never an RH40. Thanks!
@@PAmining Are there any demag documentaries coming in the future? I really loved your old videos on the h185
( something unrelated: I was just looking at some mining auctions today and found that 3 months ago some lucky guy got a 2006 terex rh200 with minimal damage for 70.800$ , i was very jealous.)
Excellent video as always 👍👍👍 the videos you make are they made in Schuylkill County? Just curious 🤔🤔🤔
Thank you! My videos primarily come from all across PA but I have filmed in other states before.
Oh my I love this old girl. Its a complete monster
Amazing!
This thing never leaked a drop of hydraulic oil!
Love your documentaries. Is this excavator still in use? Looks like it's been sitting for a while.
Yes sir! Change in coal markers make machines idle at times
Hello Justin
Thanks for all the nice videos.
It seems like they changed the digging reach scope for the later versions compared to the original 120C model. Do You know the reason for this?
Dig depth of 6.2 with breakout/tearout of 870/880kN is very inferior compared to competition in 300t class….
Originally 120C with over 8 meter depth and breakout/tearout force of 750/700kN was very competitive if not best in class of 200 tonne at that time…
Alot of the 120E here in Sweden / Norway have been upgraded to C27 due to poor lifetime of the C18s
I was really surprised to see 3400 series engines in that
Company were I work for, did get the first CAT6030
👍👍
Justin, i am having a hard time finding one of your videos i saw 2 weeks ago probably. You were inside the cab of a front shovel at the mine and a guy was trying to break loose a HUGE rock in open face wall that was larger than the D11 below. They had a D11 and D10 tag teaming it and pushing it out of the way of the shovel. Can you help me out?? Thanks man in advance. Your channel is awesome.
That would have been the Demag H185S video but it wasn't a front shovel it was a backhoe. I also did a PC4000 video where the operator was loading some a big rock on the truck. Hope this helps! Thanks!
Video request: How about a video on the Caterpillar 6060 in either front shovel or backhoe configuration.
Haha, I will try!
@@PAmining Two thumb's up!
24 frekin feet high.. Wow the peak on my roof at home is 25 feet
The cigarette lighter in the cab's control board
What is this, 1993? xD
how many cylinders sir
There’s three petals but only two directions!
Lol.

Greetings! I've learned quite a bit watching your videos over the years. Thought you might enjoy this one I came across of a Bucyrus-Erie 65-B being used to dredge sand on a river barge somewhere in Asia. Looks pretty original and working fine. No idea how old it is. ua-cam.com/video/xKWpm7HG36w/v-deo.html
Very cool. Thank you! In glad you enjoy and learn a lot of from them. That's why I make these videos :)
17:53 *Severstal?? What? Are you serious? This is a Russian company. This is the company I work for! It's just a brain explosion!!! Where is this car located? Super!*
In US, below You can see the name of company. Perhaps it is a same corp. If I recall, author was making videos in Pennsylvania.
@@jestestuman Thanks! It's very unusual to see familiar symbols on a car that works on another continent!
@@KarelON No problem, glad I could tell.

Great idea. What is happening to this excavator? Is it just left standing or is it still in use? Unfortunately, I don't understand English very well, but I've seen a lot of your videos. So great for me. There is no mining here in Switzerland. I only know such big excavators from YouToube. As a boy I always played with a EUCLID dump truck. In this bright green color. I can still see the toy in front of me today. I am now 70 years old. And I haven't forgotten yet. Greetings from Switzerland. George. Written with Google Translate.
