    You are a brave man Charles, telling the missus that's she's wrong! My Gail'd have given me a thick ear. Beautiful painting, as always and No, you aren't old because you say over the exhausts. They seem to love to make noise to get noticed

    Thank you Charlie’s a beautiful painting. Looking like some of the sky’s we get.
    When I look out over our hills during late summer and early autumn we get similar sunsets dramatic and full of colors.
    Must get my finger out and have a crack looking at this one you had completed I can see how to tackle the painting.

    Daler Rowney knows how to make paper. I wish it would come to the US. I have to bring it in from the UK and the shipping on anything bigger than 9x12 is prohibitive. I would love to get full sheets. Prestige is every bit as good as Arches, Langton is the best pulp paper I've ever used.. and even Aquafine is really nice for sketches, line and wash, etc. We just got decent distribution of Bockingford and Saunders this year (it's marked up tremendously but it's here) so there is hope.

    Hi Charles, hope all is well.
    I can’t recall which of your videos it was that you mentioned using tube watercolour paints in your palette. You said you just squeeze new paint in the pans as you need it. So does that mean you can just let any unused squeezed out paint to go hard in the pans and it will be usable once you wet it again?
    Apologies if that sounds like a stupid question but I’m a complete newbie when it comes to watercolour. 😊

    • @charlesevans7706
      @charlesevans7706  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, it doesn’t matter if it dries out. Just stroke over with a wet brush and it’s ready to use.

    Question....do you close your pallet between paintings or do you leave it open? If you leave it open, does the watercolor paints dry quickly and get hard? I would think the paint would reactivate when made wet with water. I'm just curious. Thank you sir. Love your channel. Ty from Ohio. 👋

    • @charlesevans7706
      @charlesevans7706  2 роки тому +1

      Yes I close it when I’ve finished. And it doesn’t matter if they dry because they very quickly reactivate.

    CHARLES - YOU ARE NOT OLD BECAUSE YOU ARE ANNOYED BUY CARS , MOTORBIKE, AND THE CRAZY HEARING DAMAGING CAR SOUND SYSTEM THAT RATTLE WINDOWS AND EVEN INSIDE YOUR HOME I CAN PHYSICALLY FEEL THE SOUND INVADING VIBRATION- WHEN THEY ALL THESE VEHICLES DRIVE BY MY HOME ALL OURS OF THE DAYS AND NIGHT. FOR ME PERSONALLY, THE NOISE IS PHYSICALLY DANGEROUS- I HAVE A VERY RARE ILLNESS AND THIS OVER THE TOP NOISE POLUTION IS NOT SOMETHING I PERSONALLYBHAVE THE LUXURY TO JUST INGNORE, BECAUSE MY BODY WONT LET ME.
    IN THE US THESE VEHICAL ARE ACTUAL BREAKING FEDERAL, STATS AND CITY LAWS- NON OF THESE LAWS ARE ENFORCED!! IT IS TO ME A FORM OF ACTUAL PHYSICAL ASSULT EVERYTIME AND I AM IN MY OWN HOME BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE I AM PHYSICALLY SAFEST! BUT, CHILDREN, ELDERLY, VETERANS WITH PTSD AND PEOPLE WITH SERIOUS ILLN ARE ESPECIALLY HARMED BUY THIS ILLEGALLY ACCEPTED FORM OF PHYSICAL ASSULT WITH SOUND!! YGESE CAR OWNERS ARE WELL AWARE OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING IT IS 100% INTENTIONAL! PEOPLE WHO RESPECT 1ST THEMSELVES KNOW HOW TO RESPECT OTHERS RIGHT TO RNJOY LIVING IN THEIR OWN HOME! PLUS, SCIENTIFIC DATA PROVES - THIS RELENTLESS PHYSICAL ASSULT BY VIA SOUND CAUSES DISEASE IN HEALTH ADULTS , LIKE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, CHRONIC STRESS AND SLEEP DEPRIVATION- AND CHILDREN ARE UNABLE TO LEARN AS THEY WOULD OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO! NOTTO MENTION HOW WILD LIFE IS ALSO STRONGLY ADVERSELY AFFECTED! SO, IMAGINE WHAT THIS SOUND DOES TOO PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HAVE THE LUXURY OF GOOD HEALTH. THIS WORLD WIDE PROBLEM EFFECTS ANYONE WITH EARS THAT HEAR WITHIN A 3 + MILE RADIOUS OF THESE DISRESPECTFUL DRIVERS!! THIS IS ACTUALLY A WORLD WIDE PHENOMENON- THAT THOSE WITH THE POWER TO ENFORCE CUURENT LAW CHOOSE NOT TO DO SO, THAT IS KINDA BEYOND ME,SADLY, BUT, THAT IS WHY THE PROBLEM HAS BLOWN UP I TO A WORLD WIDE PHENOMENON. I HAVE ACTUALLY READ A FEW BLOGS ON THIS ISSUE- AND SEVERAL PEOPLE POSTED HOMICIDAL FANTASY OF WANT TO KILL THESE DRIVERS OR WISH THAT THEY CRASH AND KILL THEMSELVES, I WOULD CALL THAT A PRETTY BIG ISSUE- TO FEEL LIKE KILLING SOMEONE YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW OR WISHING THEM DEAD- BECAUSE THEY CAN'T TOLERATE 'THE ILLEGAL PHYSICALLY ASSULT BY SOUND!"
    SO, IN A WORD IT CONCURE WITH THE COMMENT YOU MADE IN THIS VIDEO ABOUT THE CAR NOISE WHILW YOU WERE FILMING 100%!!
