What I love about Tim Pierce is, he could walk past you in the supermarket and AT NO POINT would you think "that guy's a total rock star".
But he rocks harder than Slash!!
Yes, all day every day, and twice on Saturdays!!! All facts!!!
I'm pretty sure if you walk past a rock star in a supermarket you would probably not even notice most of them.
This is Tim Pierce’s life. We’re all just living vicariously thru him.
Ain't that the truth brother.
Wish I had his millions to go with it!
Totally! I think he's fabulous, but he plays far too fast and well for me to be able to learn anything from him. It's frustrating, because his playing, and the huge pleasure he has in it, is hugely inspiring.
Glad someone like him gets to do it all.
Truth.
Love how extremely happy you look when you play guitar. Like a dog that gets petted for the first time in years!
Tim is a great guitarist and seems like a super nice, cool guy. It's amazing how many famous people he's played with.
and every one of those famous people is starstruck when they meet Tim Pierce.
@@joybuzzer Yeah, he's a legend.
Tim is a true master of giving a song what it needs. Killer chops, broad musicality, and no overplaying. Every note serves the song.
I’ve been following Tim for a while now and after seeing how well he is able to guide technique i decided to buy the master class course today. After 5 mins, i have already had an a-ha moment regarding string muting and fret hand pressure.
I just discovered you and realized I’ve been listening to you for years without knowing it! Such a remarkable guitarist career story!
My Filipina girlfriend in the early 90’s was fond of singing, “I Will Always Love You” very very badly.
Again Tim demonstrates that he is one of the most versatile guitarist out there.
The enjoyment on Tim's face when he's playing. That's what music is all about!
Queen Of The Night , Janet Jackson's Black Cat, and En Vogue's Free Your Mind -> are some of fave rockin tracks from artists not typically associated with the genre...
Wow !! I worked as an assistant engineer for four years before I took the big chair, and I never worked with someone who could handle a guitar neck as you do
You seriously rock the hell outta every guitar you touch. That Les Paul sounds so damn amazing.
Love hearing the stories of your different recording sessions, Tim! Would be cool to see a couple pics of you around that time if you have any to share, brother👍
That's a beautiful Les Paul. The color, the figuring.... it's stunning.
Greetings from AZ, Tim! Really enjoyed the video of you and Rhett Les Paul hunting. Having an audio reference for your ideal LP tone was intriguing. Finding the "one" is what we're all looking for. Love your videos, I learn something new every time. Thanks sincerely.
Tim, I also enjoyed the Les Paul hunting video. Although I wish you could have turned Rhett onto a McCarty. I love the video with you and Howard Leese trying out the McCartys and comparing them to LPs.
Ah, Tim's playing and smile is my Saturday face's joy ride!
That LP flame top is gorgeous. Maybe it is the lighting, but it looks more like a Bourbon Burst or Tobacco Sunburst than a typical Cherry Sunburst. In any case, beautiful.
So awesome Tim! You have quite the catalog of amazing material!
So excited to hear you say that exercises are coming to the master class. That's exactly the type of thing I need.
The sounds are astounding!
Speaking of the Bodyguard soundtrack, a lot of us got on Beato for not including I Will Always Love You on his "top 20 vocal intros" video. It's so cool to see you play on these tracks you originally laid down!
Morning Tim, sounds like more fun then you're aloud to have at work, LOL (Just realized this is the recording, loved the studio gigging story, so awesome!!!)
He has such a smooth light touch. He always place with taste and makes every note count.
Masterclass in!, Excited!!
So AWSOME Tim , and the best part is you are enjoying and having fun with it ! See it on your face
Tim - that introductory solo was fantastic and on fire! Great playing. I hadn't heard the song before, and didn't even realize her voice, yes - aggressive is the perfect term.
so great Tim!!! this was fantastic
What an outstanding part Tim! Love it!
I had no clue! Tim, Thank you for doing what you do.
Had no idea that was you on that track. Killer solo. Thanks Tim.
I had no idea as well. Someone needs to update his wiki page to credit him with it. I always thought that pop song had a hard edge to it due to the guitar riffs.
The many adventures and playing dates of Mr Tim, what a career this bloke has had, and is still having!
Having been such a fan for so long, I feel like I kinda have a grasp on what you've played on. At least the huge stuff. And yet here I am again, totally amazed that it was you on this.
quite the groove you're swinging there! Lovin' it
It is frightening just how great you are Tim. It is SO much fun to watch you play.
Love the solo. Full of energy and very unique.
Man, your playing really inspires me. So musical 👍
Tim, you are such a great guitarist and your joy is infectious!
Wow! So impressive you just cranked that out in session. And I LOVE your new Les Paul! Congrats Tim!
A great video Tim, thank you for all the joy you've given to your audiences over the years, you really put your heart and soul into it. 👍
You are such a legend Tim! Ty for sharing.
Fantastic solo! Great backstories, too! So enjoyable!
Such a great video! Thanks for sharing your experiences. They are so intriguing. And your playing is phenomenal - so fluid and spontaneous. Thanks tons.
so so glad to finally catch your stream live. you've inspired my guitar playing for many years. Cheers mate!
Great playing, Tim!
Great story…thanks for sharing😎
Much respect Tim...
Wow! What a great Les Paul sound. Tim, you are just killing it. And the joy you exude while playing … Shit, man. You da best!
Dude..... You're the best man... Love this channel and LOVE that groove. Great tone, even through my puter.
Brilliant guitar playing! Thank you for your great work, Tim! ❤👍👍
"don't get discouraged" - wise words spoken with humility and grace. Yup - thanks and keep on keeping on!
I love the way, you love to play the guitar, it makes me, after this video, to mix another project I recently got inboxed. Thanks for the fun.
kinda blown away by the verse and chorus riffs. some really interesting stuff grooving under the song
Your love of music is inspiring.
That Les Paul is SICK!!
Your mastery of it: Even more SICK!!
🎸🎼
love your playing. we need more tim in our lives. have you ever done any solo stuff?
Ahh Tim. Words don't do you justice. Beauty LP. I'd love to find some accurate tabs for that solo.
I remember that scene where she does that Rocker. It's pretty badass. Cool it was you Tim...🤘😎
Thanks for sharing boss.😎
That solo is awesome!
Tim this video speaks to just what a fantastic session guitarist you are. Guitarist period. What a career.
New Channel Subscriber, new Master Class member, life long learner.
Love the pop-up Fretboard when it appears - more please!
I love the way you totally enjoy what you do. You are a great player.
My friend Tim…. the business has change so much, I am amazed that anyone can make a living. I have heard a lot of known and unknown musicians when I was in the live sound and analog recording 30 years ago. It’s a joy knowing a talented and amiable musician can still make a living playing his ax. Thank you for sharing your history.
So awesome. What a nice genius and artist.
I'm sorry I missed this yesterday. Great playing as usual, Tim.
SO AWESOME, TIM!!!
you're the best, Tim. Thank you
You are truely the Heisenberg of session guitarists! Love your ideas the way they flow.
One thing I've really picked up both directly and indirectly through the Master Class and these videos is that you don't have to play all 6 strings at once ... nor do you have to play full out ... specifically in a track or with a full band (unless you're a trio). 2/3 string parts is not only sufficient it's tasteful and tasty. The first part of this video really demonstrates that. There's a lot going on so big full chords are out of place. Thanks Tim for continuing to teach and inspire.
Thank you - I always learn much from your video work and by the end I am inspired.
That is a beauty. Great playing as well.
That was one of your badassedest badass jams yet. Great to hear that song rocked the hell out.
Dear Tim,, youre awesome!! Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration!!👍
Tim LOVES Guitar. And we love TIM, Rock ON!!!
Love hearing your session stories....How the real world o f"musicians for hire" work!
I LOVE your videos....it would be awesome to see the split screen of both angles on the neck whenever you're playing. I've learned so much....someday I hope to afford the master class.
Well this explains why this has always been a bit of a guilty pleasure song for me. Insane talent you have!
Tim is the man!!!
Gorgeous Les Paul.
The playing was great too.
This guitar. Such a hard rock candy finish. Totally geeking out on the color. Very stunning!
Gorgeous LP you've got there, Tim! 😎
Oh sure you do.. A scam. 👌
Just what I wanted! 🙄
Great video Tim
Great video as always Tim. Great to see the Fractal FM9 next to you. I am still on their waiting list.
Btw, building and selling patches and IR's (from your arsenal of amps) for multi fx pedalboards (maybe for the sessions you played) may also be a great web business (patches for both single coils and humbuckers). Will looking fwd to it 🎸🎼🎶.
Tim, love the sound of your new Les Paul. Amazing instalment- the master in action!👍
I had my 70 strat done with stainless steel from this guy Glenn Sweetwood guitars. He is out out way Tim he did a really nice job on my old strat..
So great...maybe my favorite Tim solo
Great video, great stories. So much session work for fantastic players…back when music was valued. Love hearing the stories.
Awesome inspiring reminder about warming up! Sometimes I am guilty of expecting something great to happen when first picking up a guitar with a good idea. Save the idea, warm up and work at it. A good surprise happens when inspiration comes when in a warmed up groove.
Love it! Love Tim so much! :)
Best groove and solo for years!
WOW ♥ Amazing playing there Tim!!
I can’t think of a time when he wasn’t!✌️😎🎸🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
Beautiful new Les Paul Tim!!! Agree with you 100% on the wide flame reverse chevron.
One of my fav intros ever Tim!!
Tim remains me my dear friend Ramon Stagnaro , “the one” in LA sessions for nylon strings guitar sessions, he was the ultimate guitar player, also expert in electric …..one of a kind
Tim's command of the instrument makes it look so easy...then I try and realize it is not. Great track Tim!
Cool Tim! You surprise me so much.
Love& peace !!!!
Reminds me of En Vogue. Don't know if that is who this was with. But it sounds kind of like their stuff. As always stellar guitar work.
Man, you are all over the Tim, good stuff
