i did think daniel was a pastor a little bit, but then he started swearing (LITERALLY THATS IT) and i remembered how my ex-pastor said that when he was training to be a pastor he was called out for swearing and had to train not to LMAO

For anyone that's curious, non-denominational just means you aren't tied to a denomination. You aren't included in their politics or accountability structures. I've been to very baptist-leaning nondenominational churches and very charismatic nondenominational churches. They can be anything.
yeah its not always true but in my experience/area non denominational usually is key for "we dont want to be held accountable" lol

Regarding the hospital thing, and maybe it's just cause I'm from the Southern US, but it's not unusual for some pastors to volunteer at a hospital for people who want some kind of religious comfort. When I went in for a gallbladder removal a pastor came by, and since my mother is religious we had a generic prayer. Honestly, though, I was made a lot more nervous by the nurse coming in with legal papers "just in case".
Pastor: praying for my health and safety
Me: Fine, whatever.
Nurse: "Okay, sign these just to cover everything in case there are issues" (not a quote, just vibe)
Me: Oh fuck I'm gonna die.
Yup. In addition, a lot of pastors probably consider looking in on their church members in the hospital as part of their job as long as the church isn't too big. (Lots of churches are really small folks)
Yes, some hospitals also have chaplains and...sadly I know for a fact the worst call you can get is from one of them right after a doctor.
Yeah, in the Mormon church you would call bishops (basically Mormon pastors) to do "blessings" on people in hospitals. Shit was weird.

Well, tbf I think it's also a thing of women traditionally not being allowed to be pastors within the church to begin with. Some people nowadays still believe a woman isn't fit to run a church. I might be wrong, but I think their basis for it was "Eve (women) was the first sinner, and made from Adam, therefore women are unfit to lead the covenant."
Not saying that this is good or right of course, but with that view being common enough I can see why they immediately went for her.

That’s jumping to a major conclusion when it simply could’ve been that they didn’t feel like his answers were solid. Also, black pastors are more common than asian pastors and black churches are pretty respected for their faith. If there was evidence that people of racial minorities consistently got voted out first on jubilee video then I could see your point but based on this video there is no evidence to support that they were being racist.

Why didn't they just get people from different religions together instead of just Christians from multiple denominations? Because I figure that would've been more entertaining, seeing which ones relinquish their vows of non-violence first and turn the proceedings into a bloody melee. Like when I was at church last week (even though I didn't wanna be there), a guest speaker was talking. He was pretty cool at first, but then he mentioned LGBTQ+ and my immediate thought was "Ah sh*t, here we go." He was going on about how 53% of people apart of LGBTQ+ had depression. ... Yeah, half of us probably do, but I mean- there are people like him out there that are tearing us down and acting like they can "fix us" so- 💀that's a good reason for having depression in my opinion.

Plenty of Lutheran churches don’t narrow down to the specific sub-denominations.
I guess, but if a pastor is asked what kind of Lutheran church they attended, at the least they could describe the liturgical style, how liberal or conservative it was, size of the congregation. Something. The vague answer made it clear she had no specific image for what she was describing.

They can't see them as voices of reason and leadership so they were just displaying their true colors.
