Just a heads up to other rookies: The double basket is listed as 14g. I wasn't aware of this and was putting 18g in the basket. I kept getting different outputs and could not get any consistency. Additionally, the puck occasionally stuck to the group head. After finding out the actual size, I started doing 14g shots and they came out nearly perfect every time. I'm still experimenting, still trying to nail down my workflow, but having the correct amount in the basket was a big improvement.
Gutted the promo's not available im the uk 😭 Great vid! Now stuck deciding whether this would be a worthy upgrade from my current gaggia classic or go the whole hog with a double boiler machine 🤔
Thank you for the review. I am considering a gaggia classic pro Evo modded with PID control and the Profitec go. I am wondering if you have any advice or comments. Thanks.

Hi there. Thank you for pointing this out. This issue has been resolved. As this was the first time we've done this, things will be a lot smoother for future giveaways. --BRYAN
It's 100% still a good machine, but you start to realize the limitations of them(similar to the GCP) without PID. The thermal stability of the Go is incredible too. The no burn steam wand on a ball joint honestly is incredible
I've had the machine for two years and am very happy. Only issue is that when replacing the shower screen with the IMS Nano-Coated, the screen doesn't seem to snugly fit in the steel recess of the removable stainless steel screen holder, and my shots are wildly inconsistent, sometimes with water seeping out of the sides. However, when reinstalling the Profitec shower screen the issue is resolved. Are you guys aware of this and is there a solution? I'd prefer to use use the IMS because I think the water disbursement is better, but the fit doesn't seem to be ideal.
@@michaelschenker8326 Hey, sorry i meant wouldn't using a puck screen give you the same benefit as changing the shower head screen would have given you?
Hey rafael, Here's what the manual says on descaling: You should use water with a max. hardness of 4° dH in order to protect your machine from lime scale damage. When necessary, make use of a water softener / water filter cartridge to reach an adequate degree of hardness. If these measures are insufficient, a prophylactic descaling of the machine may be necessary. Contact your specialized dealer before undertaking this measure. An already calcified machine may only be descaled by your specialized dealer because a partial disassembly of the boiler and the tubing may be necessary to prevent the system from being blocked by lime residues. A late descaling can cause substantial damage to the machine

Does the alternative milk such Califia oat milk for barista steam well with this machine? Most demonstrations are done using whole milk.

Also. I dont see the brushed steel model on your site. :)
