I am convinced that the Vedas and the Upanishads are connected. The Vedas were created 1st and later the Upanishads. As I would like to read all the Vedas and all the Upanishads to answer you question better, I encourage you to read either in Hindi (Sanskrit),English or any other languages you know, the Prasna Upanishad about the six questions. Something you may know; Vedas is the entire body of Hindu sacred writings. Upanishads: A sitting, an instruction, the sitting at the feet of the master. Brahmana: One of a class of prose pieces dealing with Vedic rituals and sacrifices. One part of literature connects to another. I do have a doubt in one of the points... In this world negative things spread fast, they create impacts as it is advertised in a large scale. no one doing bad is afraid to show off his wealth or his power. People get a lot of name and fame out of negative actions. This makes us believe that most success can be achieved easily by doing wrong things in this society...
Instead it the moral responsibility of people doing good deads to publicize their doings and showing the world that success, power, prosperity can also be achieved by being honest, doing good and following the right path...
By telling, people doing good deads to be silent it has already created an image that people being honest will be poor, suffering and people who exploit others are growing rich... We must show the world our good deeds and make them believe in being good... GOOD DOINGS MUST SPREAD FASTER THAN BAD

The reason why gossiping is prohibited is because once you have digested the Upanishads you can handle anything that comes before you. No one cheats you. No one need cheat you. If you know how to work with people, no one will harm you. Even Duryodhana and Shakuni could not bind Lord Krishna with chains in the rAjyasabhA.

Normally upanishad s require men and women to adhere to paravdyai that is to self realisation.
One can be good in their life.
Following scripture s as way of life.normally self agrandisment of wealth or fame is not essence of uapnshads.wealth health and happiness are required for everyone.upanishads showed us ihaparaloka happyness up to certain extent and finally leads us tosimple living and high thinking .
Subhshitams of Bhartrhari and Dharma Sindhu gives us a lot of information how to be wise and not wicked.
Finally manasa vaha and karmana we require Tobe humans.
Management principles as stated by Western and our own scholars dwell mostly enrichment of individuals and corporate entities.
Nothing wrong in enrichment but inclusiveness is essential part of sriptures.
