This was a great video and very informative thank you!! I just ordered the Sakura edition of this with 16gb ram and 1tb ssd. I'm excited to finally get to use it! :)
Is that the pink one with the cherry blossoms? 🌸 That one looks so cool! 😎 I hope you love it!
@@BoKnowsGaming yes it is!! 🌸🌸
That's awesome! Judging from your profile picture there, I'd say you love pink flowers. So this sounds perfect for you! Haha! 😊 Thanks for watching. Let me know how the PC looks when you get it!
Hey I’m researching this exact one to use for 32bit style games, Steam indie games and the sims. Wondering if I should spend the extra money on the Steamdeck. How has this worked for you so far?
trying to find a better pc for gaming, stumbled upon this, really informative. My current PC is meant for work, and even though its a full sized pc, it runs fortnite at about 60-80 max so this is a huge upgrade.
Sweet. Glad you found it helpful! Yeah, most work pc’s aren’t really meant for gaming I suppose. But this mini-pc was pretty impressive, especially for such a low powered device. It’s saving you money on your electric bill while you game! 🙂
The WiFi card that it comes with blows. Spend the 20.00 and get a AX210 intel card. That's what I did. Otherwise, this is a great daily workstation. It runs better on Windows 10. And Linux Mint works beautifully on it as well.
Yeah, it’s a pretty great daily driver. I really do think it strikes an almost perfect balance between price and power.
It’s pretty awesome that you can swap out WiFi cards. I didn’t realize that! Mine worked great though. Both download and upload was fast.
I don’t know about Windows 10, but Mint is a great distro! 👍👍
It's an easy swap. Lies under the NVME card. Distance and speed were more than doubled going to the Intel AX210 card.@@BoKnowsGaming
Oh wow. Very nice. Great tip! Thanks!
Love the content my guy, but adding chapters would be a refreshing cherry on top
True. But that takes even more time that I honestly don't have right now. Maybe if I'm ever able to do this full time or hire an admin I'll get around to adding chapters, because I think you're 100% right.
Thanks for watching! Hope it helped!
@@BoKnowsGaming You're most welcome man, cheers!
Great video, hopefully you are able to make a video showing how to increase the vram or tdp. I purchased one of these just waiting for it to arrive 👍
Thanks! I think you’ll enjoy your new computer. I do want to make a tutorial on the vram adjustment, but between work and the other videos I’m trying to get done by the end of the year, it will probably be early 2024 before I get to it. Sorry about that. Hopefully, you’ll consider sticking around though. Always nice to meet someone friendly in the comments. 👍🙂
@@BoKnowsGamingHey my friend, great video. I just wanted to know if you could tell me what is the power brick wattage? Did you use this system for a while? I'd appreciate a reply. Thanks from Toronto! 👍🏻
@@TradeKingz73 Thank you! I know it's a 19V adapter, but I can't remember the wattage. It's not much though, especially compared to a normal desktop PC. I used it for about a month in order to do my review, and it worked really well, but then I had to sell it to fund my next video. I almost kept it because I liked it, but I needed the money to keep producing content.
I am using the UM773 lite just for editing photos and video. Nomgaming. I purchased the barebone and upgraded it with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 2TB M.2 SSD and Win11. I am pretty satisfied with the performance for the price! What bothers me a ton is that it is quite noisy. It sounds like somebody turned on a hairdryer when I use my Photo Edition Software. Did anybody try to get this thing quiet already?
I didn't do anything to the fan, but I also didn't think it was that loud. You could mount it behind your monitor and let the monitor block some of the sound. Or maybe use a free software like FanControl or SpeedFan to set it at a constant rate where it doesn't ramp up suddenly.
Hi man great video, I just bought one of these. I can't seem to overclock the ram from the bios, which would provide a great boost especially for the igpu. Have you tried or do you know how?
Hey! I don’t know how to overclock the ram. I just booted into bios and changed the allotted amount for vram so the gpu had more to work with. That definitely helped graphic performance! Sorry I’m not more help, but thanks for watching! Let me know when you find the answer!
I just bought this MiniPc and i installed GPU-z its reading at 2GB for the GPU which can do some light gaming nothing like Diablo 4 or high end games unless the one I got is a different model please let me know if they offer a different version of this Minipc
There’s not a different version, but if you go into your BIOS you can change how much RAM is allocated to VRAM. You can change it to 4, 6, or 8gb. I put mine at 8gb and that allows you to play some higher end games on lower settings.
Why does the cable need to be in the back. just turn the whole box sideways and it's problem solved. you don't need it facing forward
my friend bring me UM773 lite barebone. I tried to setup the windows , download the file from the web , and suddenly it freeze and no boot. Nothing is showing up on the screen. Bios got corrupt. My new device i paid for , not even single hour use got brick ! they dont provide any installation procedure for barebone .
That really sucks. Sorry to hear that. I haven’t used any of their barebones kits, but it sounds like a problem with the ssd you installed. Do you have a different drive you could try?
heled me a lot, great video! just earned a sub from me
Awesome! Glad to help! Thanks for the sub and encouragement! 🙂
Seems like everyone agrees on the odd placement of the usbc 😅
Really? Have other people complained about it? I get why it’s there from an internal layout perspective. It was either there or no where at all. But it’s a little annoying. I would’ve rather had only two usb A 3.2 ports in the back rather than four, and moved the two usb-c ports to the back.
@@BoKnowsGaming yea lol i thought it was just me but like you i figured hey....great product low price why complain (: I have a phone dock thats usbc and thats when i realized how weird it would look
Exactly. It’s such an amazing product for the price there’s really no reason to complain. But since I was reviewing it I figured I had to be honest about what I didn’t like. Which was actually difficult because there’s not much to dislike!
This thing sucks for gaming bro
For the newest stuff, most people will absolutely want more power. But for 90% of gaming history, which a lot of people still enjoy playing, this thing is awesome for the price.
perfect mini pc, imho
It’s a good one! Can’t wait to see what they come out with in 2024 in this price range.
@@BoKnowsGamingI own mine, and so far I love it, I went for 32gb ram, 1tb ssd, and will upgrade it with 64 if needed, but so far, it kills all my other laptops and computers, I'm basically using only this from few months
I think 32gb of RAM is the sweet spot here. Did you go into the bios and allocate 8gb of it for VRAM? I did that, and it really helped gaming performance!
@@BoKnowsGaming nope, but I will 👌🏻😁
@@BoKnowsGaming Btw, there is a way to download a newer bios? Where I should go and it is useful? Also, if I wanna put Linux (as I will in the near future) adrenalin is not supported I guess?
