One of Dawn's claim to fame is its use for cleaning birds after oil spills. Greenwashing? I agree with using the most natural cleaners but even one with synthetic surfactants is 'greener' and more effective than the solvents in dry cleaning.
Great point!
This gives me courage! Was that washing up liquid in the tub to start? Could we use your detergent instead? And, yes, I do think that blue Dawn detergent would be the equivalent in North America. Thank you!
@@mrss3534 good! No it is our own detergent in the tub, then just fairy liquid applied to the stained area
@@nearlynewcashmere Thank you!
@@nearlynewcashmere What do you use for your own detergent? Pls advise.
Diluted dish soap for most cases, and full strength in others?
@@KedrinSimmsBrachman yep, if Ali can tell it’s going to be a stubborn stain she will use more strength
Three risky activities: Parachuting out of an airplane. Jumping off of a cliff into a lagoon. Hand-washing and ironing an Hermes scarf.😳👍😉
@@LyndaS. 😂😂 I know which one we’d take our chances with!
I do not belive it. The colour and the shine will disapear if you clean the scarf on that way.
As you can see by the end of the video, it looks like new again! It does not damage the colour or shine at all
