This guy is hilarious. He was one of the best parts of MadTV. His impressions are impeccable.. He does a slightly more stupid version of every person he impersonates. I can say some of the hardest laughs I have had have been because of Will Sasso.

Mad TV was better than SNL and In Living Color (I enjoyed all 3 programs). SNL dipped hard after Murphy left and took a few yrs to get their footing. The big difference and lesson that I think SNL got from Mad Tv was while during the Murphy yrs and a few yrs after, SNL had only had 1 or 2 really funny cast members that carried everyone else while Mad's entire OG cast and their new comers were talented and funny. SNL has always had funny moments but it didn't became consistently funny until Will Ferrel and forward, which marked better writers and consistently better cast not just 1 or 2 players for everyone else to play off of.
The 2 shows aren’t even comparable. Its like saying that First Take is better than Sportscenter.
That Tony Soprano was damn near indistinguishable from James Gandolfini. So underrated and a comedic genius.
Jesse and Hulk are out of this world.

My point wasnt rp imply that SNL is a better show. We all know that's not true. But If I'm going to wish something on someone, it would be the bigger paycheck and opportunities that come from SNL. Basically just saying he deserves SNL money as opposed to MadTV money. MadTV treated their cast much worse than SNL as well
Mad TV crushed SNL for years when Will Sasso was on it. SNL couldn't touch Mad TV when they had Will Sasso, Debra Wilson, Mo Collins etc.. The late 90s to early 2000's belonged to Mad TV
It’s not just his impressions. It’s also his physicality. I lose my shit at the way his mouth moves when Kenny Rogers chugs the whiskey at 3:08. And he’s pulling some decent stunts like with Steve Austin at the end there.

Me too, man, me too. I watched it religiously. And back then, there was no youtube to upload it as fast as light either. So if you missed a funny episode you would have to hear about it at school or hope that someone taped it on VHS lol. Some peeps would upload on kazaa, limewire, etc but the quality just wasnt the same.

Why? He'd be healthier/feel better with less weight. Don't get me wrong, I don't fat shame or anything, but I don't understand people wanting certain actors/comedians to stay at a certain weight so they're somehow more amusing/so the people can feel better about themselves at the expense of that person's health. And I say this as a big guy who's working to shed pounds. All that being said, I will agree that he's a funny guy, and it's a shame his career never really took off. He does great impressions.

His Trump is completely extemporaneous. You watch him go at it for 3, 4 minutes, nobody else can do that; anything the hosts say he can riff off it. Other people sound better, but they're highly scripted.

I laugh for a straight 10 minutes, one of the most underrated and under used entertainers ever. Pure pure pure talent, holy shit.
Sassy Sasso is a comedic genius. Most, if not all the cast of MadTv were really good at what they did but some just stand out from the rest. Namely; Sasso, McDonald, Collins, Wilson and of course, the everso talented and misguided Mr. Spears.
