Great tips Andrew‼️ Wife and I both getting the new iPhone this year and we are both over 70 years old so we have learned in the past, we just go the youngest pre-K er in the family an ask them to show us how to use them. Works every time, 👍🤗

@@doominator-rw2fu Yep‼️ I still try and keep up with TECH, I retired from Compaq Computer Corporation back in 2000 and we have come a long ways since I started using iPads and iPhones. Apple’s iPad Pro is the best piece of technology I’ve seen in a long time and I love the new Scribble application in iOS 14‼️👍🤗

Um, pretty sure best way to backup is through a proper computer or laptop. Cloud services can be spotty, having to pay to store all your info and the off chance that something happens or corrupts it and it’s gone

1:16 into the vid already an issue. Why would a person have to buy storage to backup when they own a laptop or desktop. That’s another reoccurring bills that isn’t necessary
the phone comes with a USB-C lightning connection, so you need a USB-C to USB connector to connect to a PC. I just backed up to itunes because I couldn't wait to order one!
Use your old phone's USB-A to lightning cable to transfer it to the PC

@@xNightHawk32 I've got the Midnight green. It looks really awesome. I did found a case with protector and that is for rough use (slippery hands). Those are supposed to arrive on Monday. So far, the experience with it is really awesome. The camera is awesome, it's really fast, the texture it's amazing, so happy with it. Which color did you chose? :o

@AppleInsider -- I have always sworn I would never go Apple. And in fact, I moved away from Android and back to Windows Phone 8 (yep) a good six or seven years ago with what was then a used Nokia. It has been... ummmm..... falling short for some time, now, and so I have been looking at new(er) Android phones for the past year or so.
Now, a brand new iPhone 11 (basic) has landed in my lap at no cost to me. Gift horse? Maybe. But I'm going to make the move and see how it goes. And I'm kinda geeked about the idea...
So, what I need is that understandably obscured "Transition from a Windows phone to iPhone" book/tutorial/document, at least to help with the basics, get me up and walking, if not running. Does such a piece of literature exist? Thank you in advance.

First iphone I've had since 2012, just left the s10 plus for this... The iPhone gets hot for no reason, you can't even adjust the size of the keyboard and the swiftkey predictions suck in comparison 😂, you have to have all your apps showing, face ID sucks compared the finger print on Android, oh how I miss android. Things just don't feel the same. IOS feels clumsy, no back button, much easier to use the Samsung one handed.
iPhones are lots of fun. 🙂

For anybody going without a case should just consider a clear case. Apple finally makes them for these new phones. Or get a less expensive one on Amazon. Still show off your phone with some peace of mind.
Michael, I love the looks of the clear case. I have a Speck case on my current phone which is almost 5 yrs old & still looks good. Do you think the clear case is going to be durable? I haven't looked at them yet
