A SIM card contains its unique serial number (ICCID), international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) number, security authentication and ciphering information, temporary information related to the local network, a list of the services the user has access to, and two passwords: a personal identification number (PIN) SD Card: a type of memory card typically used in digital cameras and other portable devices.
I guess that’s why the title of the video says “ Beginners Guide” and it also says “ Guide for first time users”, since this can be applied to any iphone - like the iPhone 12 or iPhone X or iPhone SE , iPhone 11

I think you are getting confused between what a Sim Card is and an SD Card.
