The history of this song was Tobia’s grieving the loss of his older brother who tragically died. He hasn’t gotten over it. Sometimes when he sings it on stage you see he gets emotional. Sometimes turns away from the crowd. This, I feel, makes the song beautiful because it’s from his heart. Thank you Tobias for sharing your sadness with us! So much talent
I dedicate this everytime I listen to my son's father. He killed himself last year and I miss him. We had broken up but he was good and I wish we all had life eternal so I could tell him I miss him so much

This song is so haunting and extremely beautiful. The first time I heard it, I had my headphones almost full volume and i had goosebumps and tears running down my face in the dark. I don't cry anymore to this song, but it still grabs me by the heart like the first time. I love this song to bits. Cirice, Dance Macabre, and Witch Image the same aswell.

My brother sent me this song before he went missing. He was found deceased a few months later. I recently reached out to a medium. She told me my brother is telling me to listen to the songs he sent me. I didn't tell anyone he sent me songs before he went missing.

@Induxvideos There are different kind of people in any profession and it wouldn't be fair to say "they are all this" or "they are all that". All human beings are different, and some mediums are probably trying to psychologically help other people. But you know, one could easily say to someone else "listen to the songs your brother sent you" without knowing anything about the reality of it :-/ when you have siblings, it can be expected that you share things together...you don't need to be a medium to understand that. Just discovering Ghost, but Satanism generally doesn't mean worshipping Satan. The devil is just a mascot for free will and deified as a mockery to Christianity. The tenants of Satanism are actually way better than the moral code you'll find in Abrahamic religion. It's pretty positive, unlike the death cults of Jadiasm, Christianity amd Islam.
If Tobias never records another note, he's on his way to Valhalla. Just a damn genius for all time. In 10, 15, whatever years, Ghost will pass everbody except the Beatles in terms of greatness. There's no filler with this band. Every song is a hit and every song is banger. No artist this century and no artist since the late 80s, early 90s has affected me this deeply. My love for Ghost/Tobias is endless and boundless. There's nothing else left to say ❤

I loved this song and when my Mom died a few months ago it took on an entirely different meaning to me. I heard his pain in his words. I understood them. This song has helped me get through the worst death in my lifetime. I played it over and over crying in the bath. I still cry and i still mourn but i saw that he didn't let death kill him. He didn't let it destroy his life and career

I have just heard the whole "prequel" CD again, and I must say that this CD By Ghost is the best whole CD that I have ever heard. Every song is just so damn good. I could listen to it many times and still just love it.
It's been a damn while since I bought an actual CD and I can say this one was sooooo worth it. Every song worthy of being a single.
Something about Ghost that I feel is under appreciated is how amazing the final song in each album is. Every album has an absolutely perfect finale that encapsulates their themes and styles so well while also feeling like a satisfying way to end.

i can bet everyting that this song is for his brother Forge's older brother Sebastian, who was a huge influence on him, died the same day Tobias posted the first Ghost songs online, and the musician has come to think of the coincidence as an example of energy transference
