The most impressive thing is that every guitar model he has in the game makes no sense and nobody would be able to play one like it in real life. A guitar with 3 strings that are attached to nothing that go to the one side right after the nut, but the head of the guitar having 2 turning pegs on each side? One of his guitars can't even be tuned for the lack of a proper head. Him being able to play the guitar with his weird fingers isn't the weirdest thing... Also the electric guitars can't be playing if they're not plugged in... but maybe it's magical and shit so maybe that's less of a problem. However I'm pretty sure nobody at Blizzard has ever heard of a real guitar.
8:55 their heroes have good synergy, guldan + junkrat poke and do shrines, malf sustain heal, garrosh protecting his team from dive, and they have follow ups for garrosh combo
I just recently discovered him and really like the playstyle. As long as you're with guys following your cc he is just an amazing tool to control the game. he is a little bit squishy, but as long as you play defensive enough and peel mispositioned enemies he can make the difference
Nice vid as always. Very useful, as ETC is my favorite character and playing it at it's best will make me happy. Now my question: Can you talk about Probius? It's probably the only hero I never really understood, no matter how much I play him.
What do you think of the speed metal talent at level 4? I personally like it. I think the bonus movespeed really makes a difference to help your team disengage or to chase down a kill. In what situations should I be picking something else?
I used to use that talent all the time and then recently I changed to the larger knockback talent (and the later talent that reduces the cooldown if you face melt 2 or more heroes). I literally have never gone back to the other talent since that day. The extra distance on the knockback and the later ability to use it every few seconds is massive. Your constantly able to peel people off. The other reason is I find that the movement speed to chase down a kill can sometimes get you into trouble. Chasing kills in general is bad. If they are that low in health they will most likely hearth back anyway. Its better to use the time to get a tower/fort/keep/minion wave and not risk that you get counter engaged upon while you chase.
Krešimir Turkalj does seem a bit weird. I guess my reason is that everyone always wants to follow-up a Varian taunt but people don't follow up etc slides. My point wasn't at they are the same duration
This videos are very useful, thanks for your work! I wanted to ask: do you plan on covering non-meta heroes as well? Sometimes I feel like I'm not understanding how one hero should be played and why certain talents are picked most by the community and how to use them.
Stage dive has always been my favorite ult in the game. It gives so much map pressure, i hardly ever pick mosh. Admittedly, I should grab mosh more often but.. mosh is so boring.
It's stupid that people still think that ETC is just picked for Mosh Pit, specially since today there are so many ways to counter it if you draft ETC as one of the first picks. He still is one of the best peelers in the games. You mention that it is better to not use Facemelt after Powerslide, but the level 7 Talent *Pinball Wizard* (Facemelt does 200% increased damage to enemies recently affected by Powerslide) makes it a really nice combo. But do you know what is the window of opportunity for the bonus damage of Pinball Wizard to take effect? How long can you wait before you use Face Melt to get that bonus damage? Because the game doesn't show any tracking of it.
Wouldn't that be during powerslide's stun duration? I'll test it out in the try mode, but I think that's the actual window of opportunity for that rather strong damage burst. Edit: I've checked in Try Mode and it feels to be about 2 seconds. As in you have a smidgen of a moment after the stun's duration ends to get that bonus damage. Tested by sliding from center point between dummies onto the top dummy.
I don't agree that picking ETC for the offlane is a bad idea. Well, it's not always the best or necessarily a good idea, but I think he's a strong matchup against Dehaka especially. You can interrupt the global and match it past level 10
Also one really good thing about ETC, after level 4 W talent, he is only tank who can push enemies away, no other hero, besides Garrosh (Diablo gets honourable mention) can do that.
dont you guys think anchoring bushes is a realy bad mechanic in the pro play .They are litteraly walking totems i think some kind of vision totems needs to be implemented in the game to stop this
I think you missed one big flaw of ETC and that is that he is almost useless as tank vs good genji or tracer. ETC's animations are pretty slow and for good genji or tracer is easy to dodge ur cc's and you are leaving ur back line on mercy of them. So pretty much if ur solo tank and there is genji and/or tracer on other side just forget about ETC cos they will eat ur back line before you manage to do anything and ur be one lonely cow vs team of 5. Other than that nice vid.
Love his split push. Its annoying on large maps. Ohh ETC is top laning when the objective up. What an idiot. ETC: Hold my mosh pit. STAGE DIVE. At the right moment.
I have good experience with Mosh follow ups and i play only QM. But I'm prepairing my team for that possibility. I ping i have it ready and i ping I'm going here or there, so they have a better chance to be ready. But you must be aware of the state of your teammates, if they are running away, have low health/mana/used cooldowns, just don't do Mosh, that's basicaly it.
Most impressive thing about ETC is, how he plays guitar with only 2 fat fingers and a thumb
The most impressive thing is that every guitar model he has in the game makes no sense and nobody would be able to play one like it in real life. Great vid overall though.
Should be Lunara with her AA build
spoilerv aliert ;P

Love your analysis videos of why pros pick.. Please do more. A fan from Indonesia 🇮🇩

Sweet my favorite Tank who carried me to Master!
I just recently discovered him and really like the playstyle. As long as you're with guys following your cc he is just an amazing tool to control the game. he is a little bit squishy, but as long as you play defensive enough and peel mispositioned enemies he can make the difference

MesBloodlust Watch Glogan at twitch. www.twitch.tv/glogan13
Plays Probius at GM and will explain if you ask.
Hello Good sir,
Thank you for the mighty good video - helped quite a bit. I'd like to ask you whether you plan any video on teamfight positioning?
What do you think of the speed metal talent at level 4? I personally like it. I think the bonus movespeed really makes a difference to help your team disengage or to chase down a kill. In what situations should I be picking something else?

Why are you comparing ETC's stun to Varian? Better comparison is Muradin and Blaze, they both last for 1.25s and both are basic abilities.
Krešimir Turkalj does seem a bit weird. I guess my reason is that everyone always wants to follow-up a Varian taunt but people don't follow up etc slides. My point wasn't at they are the same duration
Not to mention Taunt isn't even a stun. If anything it is considered as charming effect.
El Rocky Raccoon "You are holding back, don't."
Lot of people giving this guy a hard time. Love the videos, keep em coming. Really enjoying the breakdowns.
On stream some day ago say: would be nie to see why pro pick etc he say: mabye i go for it..... FEW DAYS LATER! Me: wow this was quick
Another awesome video! Thanks a lot!
This videos are very useful, thanks for your work!
I wanted to ask: do you plan on covering non-meta heroes as well?
Sometimes I feel like I'm not understanding how one hero should be played and why certain talents are picked most by the community and how to use them.
keyfriend I have a video series on the back burner that will cover all heroes. Just waiting a bit before bringing it to life.
That's awesome news! Thank you!
Stage dive has always been my favorite ult in the game. It gives so much map pressure, i hardly ever pick mosh. Admittedly, I should grab mosh more often but.. mosh is so boring.
"Today we're talking about ETC today"
Captain redundant is redundant and says the same thing when he mentions something he said before.
Today, it's what we're talking about today.
Pretty nice video. Hope you can do a D.Va analysis soon.
I absolutely love him. good video.
This channel is underrated...

The way I see it, ETC and Rexxar have similar basic abilities. why is he never used?
rexxar himself has no sustain, so poke and dive makes him have to back out a lot
rexar is weak to dive etc isnt.
Rexar yes, but Misha is so tanky and dives really well.
I don't agree that picking ETC for the offlane is a bad idea. Well, it's not always the best or necessarily a good idea, but I think he's a strong matchup against Dehaka especially. You can interrupt the global and match it past level 10

Can you make a video on how to play Rexxar?
This channel is Amazing!
How can I see the skills in replay mode? When I replay that never shows
Press 0 to 9 keys to cycle between different players' perspectives.
The tank I probably do worst with, I'm way too YOLO with him and need to tone it down, thanks for the guide.
A little advice: Don't powerslide straight into the enemy. Try to do it from an angle :)
Thanks. :)
Ruiner JHow did a good video only on ETC's slides.
dont you guys think anchoring bushes is a realy bad mechanic in the pro play .They are litteraly walking totems i think some kind of vision totems needs to be implemented in the game to stop this
i will argue that dehaka has a better stun than ETC, at least ganking wise that's "the stun"
cuz he ROCKS!
I think you missed one big flaw of ETC and that is that he is almost useless as tank vs good genji or tracer. ETC's animations are pretty slow and for good genji or tracer is easy to dodge ur cc's and you are leaving ur back line on mercy of them.

Other than that nice vid.
I disagree, ETC's stun is ez to land even on the most mobile heroes, Genji E is interruptable with W aswel.
ETC can easily interrupt Genji's E and D.
I wish I had a Tracer or Genji on my team that knew to target the enemy backline, not just back their heads against their tank...
Easier then what he is is very right! xD Very easy to end up feeding on him
Love his split push. Its annoying on large maps.
Ohh ETC is top laning when the objective up. What an idiot.
ETC: Hold my mosh pit. STAGE DIVE.
At the right moment.
MOSH.PIT.
E-TOWN CONCRETE!!
In quick match, never pick mosh. No one ever follows it up
I have good experience with Mosh follow ups and i play only QM. But I'm prepairing my team for that possibility. I ping i have it ready and i ping I'm going here or there, so they have a better chance to be ready.

2:00 to 2:12... Snerk
That was alot of missed ults and a bunch of mistakes and over confidence. What makes him a pro exactly?
Yeah, Echo isnt that great anymore. Waveclear became messy. Now i just run the E talent instead, which grants me infinite healing.
Why play League of Legend and put down wards, when you can play Heroes of the Storm and be a ward!
your videos are nice, but you're re-iterating soo much, pausing to show the same things over and over..
