Then I find your video and Bam, my PC is running it the way I thought it should. Clean, crisp. I have a stock 10700k 3070 32gb ram. Running quest 2 at 80hz at 1.6ss. thank you.

Due to budget constraints and the intention of using it solely for flight sim purposes, I'm considering purchasing the Quest 2 rather than the Quest 3. Thank you!

I moved to Reverb G2 and yes I have tried it but found that it looked better using link, in all fairness I didn't spend much time with adjusting options etc in VD I stuck with using link and now with Reverb G2 I have no intention to ever using Q2 with MSFS, I might for other games but not for the sim.

Hello, I HAVE AN RTX 3080, I play with oculus rift s and until a few days ago everything was fine, but now during the flight, in the 3d cockpit I have continuous discharges and the mouse cursor is repositioned at the top. What happened? Thank you.
You are correct it was crashing because I did not retract landing gear. However ! It was a FBW bug.. no aircraft is going to crash because gear was not retracted, i tried it more recently and it no longer crashes, also i only got to 5000 Feet or so, and again autopilot is not required for aircraft to fly. Indeed it was a bug in FBW doesn't happen now. It was lack of skill on my part to leave the gear down but it should not cause a crash like it did. :)

What you see is me recording oculus mirror instead of MSFS window , MSFS still has 2 circles binoculars view, if you want to record your VR adventures record what oculus mirror shows not MSFS window.
@@AndyCYXU thanks Andy, still doesn't solve my problem. When I recentre pressing space I get the VR screen with 2 windows but it doesnt let me into the cockpit in VR
Also try tray tool set refresh 18 hertz SS at 1.4 and also .... if NVIDIA .... ensure Vsync set to FAST MODE. This will get rid of any pesky stuttering ... try it ... you will see 😊😊👍
Great tip, in my case i have tried it and I can not deal with artifacts it creates so I just chose to turn off ASW all together, 30 is kind of OK but again I find for me ASW=Off is the best especially in an airliner, a320, when I tried 30Hz in a GA, then yes setting of 30 was somewhat of an improvement and I would opt for it on a GA flight 👍
I think in this video I only used mouse.. now I only use mouse, except to position desktop in cockpit I use controller other then that i use mouse and joystick/cockpit no VR controller. I do not use Quest2 anymore, moved to ReverbG2 100 better for MSFS

I tested later and indeed when I didn't raise gear aircraft went into a dive and crash I then did same takeoff raised the gear and all was ok, honestly I think there is a "modeling" problem ... Or other Gramin... Anyways shouldn't have crashes because of landing gear left down makes no sense since my speed and altitude was everything ok.. but I digress ... anyways 😃
@@AndyCYXU Airbus has recently implemented some new behavior into the flight computer to remind pilots that they didn't raise their landing gear. Some say it's a little harsh, but Airbus claims it's resulted in eliminating 100% of forgetful pilots from the airline industry.
I no longer use this headset I have moved to Reverb G2, my settings are pretty much maxed out anyways not much relevance and since I use different headset now. Q2 can be made to work with MSFS but over all it junk in MSFS, so I was lucky to sell it shortly after I got me G2 !
IMO it makes it look very bad , wavy distance a lot of artifacts just pointless looks bad... Again all my personal preference, I have moved on to Reverb G2 now that when it comes to MSFS outperforms quest2 in every way even considering slightly higher price tag... My quest two is back in the box I might play Minecraft or ping pong on it one day I suppose 🙂
This video is pretty old and slightly outdated but I left it on for fun. If you are talking about smooth ok ng video out as you find the movement jerking, yes there is tools called openxr toolkit it I'm which there is a setting called motion dampening if you set it to -40% video recorded is much smoother and much more enjoyable to watch. It does not seem to affect what you actually see in VR as this experience is smooth , it's only the movie that is so jerky where it really hurts to watch. This setting helps if you check some of my newer video they are much more pleasant a lot less of this crazy motion. As for the crash I was crashing as someone pointed out because I did not raise the landing gear , however that is the aircraft problem there was no reason for me to crash because of that. I tried this more recently with improved FBW and I did not crash doing exactly the same thing, now purposefully since I knew .
Or throw it in a trash can go buy reverb G2 like i did and all I do is play MSFS, no more tweaking shit works out the box every time all the time screw Quest when it comes to MSFS !

yes it works fine, I do not have/use this headset for many years now, but when I had it yes i could read instruments just fine

Yes I was lucky that I was able to return Quest 2 as soon as my Reverb G2 arrived , difference is massive in every aspect when it comes to MSFS.

Thanks man btw you are crushing because you need to close your gears and open auto pilot after you climb 10.000ft and close your flaps

How can i start the VR-Mode without SteamVR. I bought the game via Microsoft Store :/

No actually it was caused because I never raised the landing gear... Not sure why it did the dive but it was far from stall speed
