Replacing glass top on a Frigidaire stove model # FFEH3054USD

- I couldn't find anything online to help me with this repair so I made a video to help you with yours.
Start by unplugging your appliance. On the top of the back of the stove you will find 9 black screws, (3 on either side and 3 in the center) remove all but the center bottom screw, remove black vent strip then put back the two bottom outer edge screws to continue holding silver panel.
Remove the door by folding the two latches down on the hinges then placing the door in the half open half closed position and pulling straight up.
Remove the 3 silver screws under the display.
lift upward on the display assembly about an inch or two (you'll fill it release) then gently pull outward being careful not to snag wires (you will get some resistance) this will expose your next 2 screws.
Once out hang it on the 2 silver brackets at its base.
remove the 2 black screws on either side holding the glass top.
Carefully lift front of glass getting a stick to prop it up.
Remove 4 screws under glass to disconnect the burners.
pull off the glass top and lay it upside down, remove 4 screws holding vents and vent strip, put them on your new glass.
now just do everything again but in reverse.
I hope this helped at least one person not deal with the headache I did.

Very helpful video. Thanks. I had to replace on FPEH3077RFE ($2200 new) which is similar. My glass top cost $607 and was very hard to find in stock. GRP -Genuine Replacement Parts had 2 left. Tip; I cracked mine when a heavy plate fell from microwave. Tip; use the lightweight type plastic microwave plates.
I'm glad it helped. I broke mine when a glass pepper shaker fell from the cabinet above hahaha. Live and learn I guess.
The cost of the stove new was $1099 and the cost of a new glass top from frigidedair was like a crazy $500+ luckily we found it at www.partstown.com/frigidaire/fri5304514197 for only $310 hope that helps

It should go without saying but.... full disclosure.... I'm not experienced in appliance repair, I don't know the proper terminology and I've never tried this before. Usually I can find a video or two to help me with appliance repairs but with this particular stove I could find nothing.
You did an excellent job and helped me a lot in replacing my my broken stove top.
