I just came across this a couple of months ago and I am now 8 months pregnant and having my 1st nesting party for my 3rd child. I am excited!! Your idea about presenting this to your church is awesome and I am going to do the same.

Thanks for making this video. I am in need of a nesting party before my third baby arrives. I have most of the stuff and we can definitely handle buying what we still need, but I really want some support before (and after) baby. My church is great about meal trains, but that’s about it for supporting the new moms. With my numerous dietary restrictions, this isn’t really an option. Going to forward this to my mom and see if we can get something planned.

This sounds fun... I think it depends on the mom. I'd do fine participating, I think I'd be stressed out having one in my home. 😬
I wish someone would have thrown me a baby shower. I watched family throw showers for people outside of the family. They felt like they needed it and we didn't (hindsight discussion). Honestly, it kind of hurt my feelings. 🙈

Hello! If you pause and screen shot at minute 7:50 this is the invite I text/emailed to my friends! And I just wrote a discerption with the photo… it said something along the lines of “you’re always saying “let me know how I can help” so I need help with some things around the house” and explained a little more. It became more of a group chat after that :)
