Remember seeing Atlas comics being wholesaled for 2 cents each by Pasaaic Books as they didn't sell and were returned to distributors in high amounts...Jack Kirby Kamandis for 5-10 cents each, etc...

Another great adventure with Jim and his state-of-the-art comic-crawling. Of course I'm a sucker for any JACK KIRBY work, so that 1St Issue Special w/ Manhunter and those SUPER-POWERS issues are right up my alley. I actually managed to pick up a LOT of 1970s DC Kirby work during the early 2000s right before those issues all started to skyrocket in price. I found so much of his work in back issue bins for like $3-5 bucks a pop back then, even issues of New Gods and Forever People. And you probably know that Kirby did the art for that KOBRA #1 that you have there. A shame how his work was undervalued for so long. Good grab with that Creature Commandos series. FYI... The first issue of the Daredevil Born Again storyline is actually #227, I believe. Some Decent books there in those basement boxes you bought, but nothing overly spectacular, and so many of those books are not boarded and bagged. Those ATLAS comics look great. I am one of the potential collectors for those. Definitely an eclectic mixed batch of comics there. Fun Fun Fun, sir! Thanks for the content!
those Andromeda and Arik Khan books are interesting pickups. I have the runs on those (6 and 3 issues respectively) not valuable, but I love the independant bronze age comics and magazines that came out in the 70's.
"it's pronounced 'Fronkensteen'" lol, one of the best movies of all time. That Ronin series by Miller is a really good read if you get around to it.
