That's certainly one of the best albums ever recorded by ET. A disc in which figure great country music classics. What a great songwriter Hank williams was! Thanks, 2packs4sure, for posting such a gem.
Thanks,,, but to be totally honest nothing ET recorded after early 1966 was his "best" in my opinion... There our folks out there that LOVE his late 60's early 70's stuff the most... I don't understand that at all but everybody has their likes and reasons. For me the peak ET years were 58' ish through 65'....
LOL,,, I'm working on the album and I'd NEVER heard ET do Faron's She Went A Little Bit Further,,,,,,,,,, wow,, can't stop smiling,,, I can't say that it's good,, but I can't stop smiling........
SURPRISED THAT "YOU WIN AGAIN" WAS NOT ON THIS ALBUM. AND "I SAW THE LIGHT." TO A LESSER DEGREE, "THESE MEN THAT NEVER SLEEP" AND "A PICTURE FROM LIFE'S OTHER SIDE." THE UPSIDE IS THAT THERE WERE SOME GOOD SONGS I WAS UNAWARE OF THAT I PROBABLY WOULDN'T EVER HAVE DISCOVERED IF THOSE FAMILIAR TUNES WERE HERE.
Webb's "Let The Children Pick The Flowers?" was never on an album, just the Decca single # 33044. I never cared for the recording as there was way too much echo engineered into it. The live on the Wilburn brothers show version is much MUCH better to my ear. You can hear the record in the background here ua-cam.com/video/HX5f94wAHOY/v-deo.html
@@goodolcountry7915 A lot of it comes from me recording my records and reel to reel tapes to CD's on my home stereo CD recorder in the early 2000's, the rest from purchased CD's and a few from early LimeWire and Napster downloads from back in the day.
My grandparents raised me country I'm glad they did

i subbed ''
you will not hear a steel like ET always had now days. Closest i’ve heard is Charley Crockett who covers these oldies.
Thank you! Sorry I ask for a lot, but would you have any info on Webb's song "Let The Children Pick The Flowers?", Was it ever released on an album?

@@2packs4sure Alright thanks, I always loved that song, didn't know if I could find it on an album or not.
@@2packs4sure One more thing, if you don't mind, how do you get these audio files? Something I've always wondered.
