Who's That Definitely-Not-A-Pokémon? | TCG Card Shop Simulator (Trading Card Shop Sim - Prologue)

- TCG Card Shop Simulator puts us in charge of a shop that sells trading cards and dice and plushies and other wonderful geeky bits and bobs!
Now I'll give you fair warning: this game looks and plays A LOT like Supermarket Simulator, perhaps ridiculously so, down to the deliveries being scattered across the path outside the shop, but it is a different game!
We run the shop by stacking the shelves with trading cards (like Pokemon cards and Magic the Gathering cards) and other goodies, we stand behind the cash register to take payment, we give out the right change by counting up notes and coins, we pay our bills, we do many shop things!
Using our phone we can order new furniture such as new shelves for products but also we can buy in gaming tables so people can sit in the shop and play games! Hurrah!
We can also open up packs of trading cards ourselves in the hopes of getting a rare card that we can sell for money. We even have a special card table set up for our one-off cards!
However, sad news... no sign of Christmas Jumper Guy.
NOTE: This is the prologue (demo!) version of the game.

In an alternate universe, this video is Bernard playing TGC Card Shop while recording a video for the channel "The Cupboard Geek"
You can also stock items on top of the shelfs too :)
more than one episode of this please. want to see more.
PLS PLS PLS what this person said!!!^^
@@emilystears4994 Yes what these 2 guys said
There is literally nothing else to show! Just the same things, over and over again. Perhaps when the game is a bit further along in development...
@@TheGeekCupboard understood. just don´t do as others do and forget games.

I could definitely see you being a hilarious TCG commentator at a tournament or something like that. I couldn't stop laughing at your comments
Gosh I'd absolutely want to see more of this LOL, but thank you SO much for checking this out! Despite the down time, I do like there's "more" going on than at the Grocery store. I wonder if FOODS and Drinks comes in at some point. Or what a Tournament is like~ Keep on Keeping On, Penge~ and thank you _SO_ much for doing what you do!
I like that you can do your own pack-opening in this game. that's so satisfying! 😃
Every board game cafe ive been to you have to pay for the tables (not much)
This game seems surprisingly compelling!
If I got change like you give it I would never come in the shop again 😅
The game tells Penge to sell for more than the market price of 3.19. Penge sets the price at 3.00 and is surprised that people by in bulk because the price is so cheap 🤣
you can stock items on the top of the shelves also
That was fun to watch
There are many games like this now, all a variation on a theme, but at least this one had something special with the card packs you can open up.
@@TheGeekCupboard I somehow missed this video when you first released it. Found it through watching one of your shorts. 👍
Heavens! I've never seen a shop sim game anything like this... ..
Its so fresh, I need more of thins.
I'm expecting "Christmas jumper guy" to appear at any moment.
We do ask for him at some point in the video!
Hehe, there's a whole host of these games that came out all at the same time, Supermarket Simulator is only one that happened to get popular. There's also two clothing ones that I know of, and a Grocery Shop Simulator and an Electronics Simulator. They are all almost exactly the same gameplay, just different products. It's almost as if there was a sudden way for amateur gamemakers to make this particular kind of game easily, so they all rushed in and did just that. 🤣🤣
This was a mobile game before that trend. It was more of an idle clicker. They just took elements from their mobile game and put it in 3D. Its also not out yet this is a demo. It will also be early access. Theres a roadmap too on the main menu including a functional card game u can play so it’s definitely gonna be far more than yet another cashing out groceries game. Seems promising.
Legit trying this game and opened a border less shiny card valued at 2554.05$ didn’t expected this at all
They can't steal EVERY single aspect from supermarket simulator and then skip Christmas jumper guy!
I am happy for the awkward budding romance though.
However, I'm not sure if it less rude to spray stinky people than to complain loudly...
Could say Supermarket Sim has also borrowed from games like Shoppe Keep and Gas Station Sim as well. So it’s kinda like a clone itself that got lucky. It’s basically Vampire Survivors and its clones all over again must be some assets that are easy to make a game with and put in early access.
I need to see more of this!
I would like to see more of this, please.
The green stink cloud can be remedied with some body spray bottles that you get under "accessories" I believe.
And here I thought TCG was tea card game.
I was hoping for earl grey or maybe chamomile (zard) 😅.
It seems like you did a lot more business before you bought the tables.
This is also a mobile game on the app store under the same name.
U can put stuff on top top shelf
So I've been told! I'm not sure it would have changed the game much though.
@@TheGeekCupboard I was telling u because when I watched ur video I was confused why u didn’t put stuff on third shelf
You have nothing to do? How about filling the top shelf?
Why is everyone obsessed with the top shelf? And that would probably take, what, 20 seconds?
What happened to Gadget the Slathering?
am only like1/3rdway in to it am wating for geek to realis he can put stuf onthe top shelf lol
It doesn't happen! I didn't realise you could put stuff on the top. Hardly a game changer though!
So many here never played the mobile game huh?
