Muchas gracias for the lesson, you're the best one. Beside improve my English I would like learn Spanish as the second foreign English coz I love Latinos songs and the people.
I really like your explanations, but just a few observations to this video. Donde estan mi libros, correct form is " donde estan mis libros" and even in english, you have to say, where are my books not where is my books, right?. Also you can not only say " lo tiene", you have to put the noun as well " el lo tiene" otherwise it would be an incomplete answer.
Dear Dr Evans, congratulations on delivering such clear lucid lessons, they are terrific however, under the example "¿Dónde están mi libros? is written "Where IS my books?" Shouldn't this read "Where ARE my books?" Forgive me for pointing this out so publicly but this error is wide spread.

Is there a way to watch your earlier episodes in order? Several times I've heard you refer to teaching something in an earlier episode and I would like to see them from the beginning.
An easy way to remember what verb to use is asking yourself if what you wanna know is temporary. If it is temporary, then you have to use "estar" but if it is not, then you have to use "Ser". In this case, you are asking for the place where la carpeta is, and that place is temporary, because if you find it, you'll probably take it and with that you'd be changing its location. Differently if you looking at la carpeta you ask what is that? In that case you use "ser" and say es una carpeta, because la carpeta will always be una carpeta, that's no temporary.
I think this episodes and "mi" and "mis" should be placed before, because articles are needed before, but then again, the order seems not that confusing if you are following with attention... I don't know... But thank you so much... These lessons and your simple but effective way of teaching tames my fear of failure in learning languages..
Hello, fellow learner here. The word 'Tener' means 'to have' and the word 'Tiene' already implies 'she has' or 'he has' , so in short we can just say 'lo tiene, la tiene, los tiene, las tiene'.
why is esta and estan used and not es. Donde es mi libro for example is what I would assume it would be. I see esta and estan and can't figure out how you would know which conjugation to use.

Sir I have a doubt.in the sentence "donde esta mi carpeta"
Why can't we write
"Donde es mi carpeta"?
Donde esta mi carpeta

"Dònde estàn mis libros" instead of "Dònde estàn mi libros": right?
I noticed that too and thought the same thing.
Wrong
Donde estaN miS libroS? ( Plural)
Where are my books?
Donde esta mí libro? ( Singular)
Where Is my book?

Correct, but both of your accent marks are incorrect 😉
Is their a sequence to the lessons ie numbered?
This was a very helpful video. I’ve been struggling in this area, and now it’s crystal clear.
Im just started learning spanish this january and im still curious why there is question mark at the beginning when asking question?😉
yesss:) why? ı realy wonder it
Should it be "Ella las tiene"(she has them)? Same goes with his another example which "El los tiene". Englighten me.
I think it's up to you to put el or ella since the "tiene" does already describe the pronoun
Hello, fellow learner here. The word
'Tener' means 'to have' and the word
'Tiene' already implies 'she has' or 'he has' , so in short we can just say 'lo tiene, la tiene, los tiene, las tiene'.
When do we recognize a word is masculine or feminine if their endings are not an a or an o probably a constant, end with e or an i
It is hard. In one of the Lessons, Mr. Evans recommended to buy a Spanish Dictionary that has feminine and masculine indication.
@@siwaycy Okay,.........thank you...I will buy one
Hey guys, do you think if I can pass a DELE A2 test if I completely mastered the grammar in these videos? Gracias
why is esta and estan used and not es. Donde es mi libro for example is what I would assume it would be. I see esta and estan and can't figure out how you would know which conjugation to use.
So LA can be both 'the' and 'it' as an when needed ? Same for LAS and LOS?
You wrote on the board Donde estan mi libros. Would it be mis libros? Or is mi correct? Thank you.
Thank you very much i
Thank you sir
Very helpful lessons, gracias.
In Spain we are thought that there is le, lo and la, where le and lo are used similarly but you won't use le to refer to things only people.
In this lesson, the topic is DIRECT objects. Le is an INDIRECT object meaning to him or to her.
Thank you.
thank you
I am confused now , la los las are used for the term 'the " and now bring used us "it" and "them" how and why
So what about in question form? Where is it? Where are they?
Donde lo/la esta? Donde los/las estan?
I give 👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
If the plural of the doctors is los doctors, why is it los aswel when it's the before doctor any ideas please
so how will I write "I have it"?
For the last one could we just say las tenemos?
Difference between esta and lo?
I 👍 your video
Why did we say mis plumas and we didn't say mis libros? Can someone elaborate please?
I think he made a mistake .
@@TheMaru666 Not really. He was actually saying "mis libros", but the "screen projector" just showed the wrong one, with the mi without s.

I thought lo and la means 'the' ?
9:10 Shouldn't that be "Where ARE my books". in english? Not "Where IS my books".
Would you not say Ella las tiene?
