I am so happy for the younger generation in regards to the acceptance of tiny house living. When I was in college back in 2007, everyone thought I was crazy for wanting to travel the country in a van. Now, people look at it as an adventure! What a great way to save money during college!

You two did a Beautiful job making the RV your home! I’m 64Yrs old and have been living in my 1980 34V Avion Travel Trailer for 6yrs now! So yes you can live full time in your RV! Many folks and families are doing the same! Always be aware of your surroundings when traveling and parking you RV. Not everyone is so nice. Be safe and enjoy your life together!

Fabulous design changes... The light blue, wood & white color scheme beats the hell out of the miles and miles of boring brown in a standard RV. And it’s amazing that they did all of this for $12,000 including the purchase of the vehicle. Incredibly resourceful young couple! Really nice to see the younger generation being so adaptive and creative... you’re going to have a great life!
Whatever your majors are, you could seriously use them as a fall-back and go into RV remodeling. Far and away the BEST design, material selection and use of space I've seen in any RV.

@4Freedom4All I worked since I was 12 years old. I started babysitting and cleaning others homes, yard work, picking crops, etc while I was still in school. My first paycheck job was for $1 an hour at a Dairy Bar. I participated in all kinds of school activities and graduated top of my glass in 1979. I had saved and bought my first car with cash at 18. This was in 1979. My parents both worked and came home at night and worked the land and animals till dark. In between all that we were at church every time the doors open. If I wanted jeans or fashionable clothing like the other kids, I had to buy it with my money. My parents bought school clothes, but usually stuff that I could wear to church too....lots of skirts! Even when I got a good paying job at the local bank , I kept my side jobs for more money. I left my home town to move to city where there were so many jobs to be had I worked 3 at a time. I saved up $10k to buy my first home and it was a fixer upper. The point of telling you all this is if people really want to make money they will find a way. I had no help along the way. And as a woman, I had to work even harder to make it where I did. And many times I made less money than a man doing the same job. I worked and went to college at night. It took longer to get my degree, but no student loans. I did some crappy part time jobs on the side along the way, but hey I learned a skill and just waited till a better job came along. I learned to save for retirement in the beginning....never living off more than base salary...always rolling raised into the 401k. Part time side jobs were strictly for fun purchases ...vacations, etc. I particularly used to work retail part time in fall to purchase Christmas gifts only. Like my mother used to say people will do or find a way to do what they really want to do. That usually requires hard work and sacrifice...sometimes that's time, money or both. These 2 kids obviously are very mature in their age and seem to have a good head on their shoulders. I'm sure they have worked hard for everything they have. My only advise is to continue their frugal ways and keep saving. We never know what life is going to throw at you and how it might effect whatever plans you might have for your future. With a good savings nest egg, you are more agile to adapt to life changes. Also I don't know what state they are attending college, but always consider moving to areas with cheaper costs of living.

Most kids today sit on their rear-ends always waiting for mommy & daddy to hand it to them. They have not an ounce of backbone they are lazy when it comes to manual labor and getting their hands dirty. She had a great example from her parents who worked fulltime and came home to work their farm.

I wish when I was in college I knew about RV conversions and tiny house living. I graduated high school in 1988 and no one ( at least not in my circle of society) ever talked about tiny home living period. With all the money I've spent renting over the years, if I had this knowledge back then I could've started a tiny home community with that rent money. This is a beautiful conversion and I'm so glad these two are doing it right. I'm trying to convince my 25 and 19 yr olds to do the same while they're still young do do the same.

Y'all have done terrific!!! Don't fret the water buildup discoloration in the shower. I've seen it many times. Get magic eraser from the automotive department (there's a picture of a tire on the label), just use it really frequently at first over time it will improve Then it's just a matter of squeagying the stall walls after each shower and wiping down with the magic eraser on a regular basis to stay on top of it.

It’s adorable and I tell ya if you stay there for a few years after school and just bank you will be off to a Great start ❤️. I especially love the day bed and all the storage it gives you. I’m in the process of renovating a Class C and it’s so much fun. I can’t wait to get on the open road!!! Congrats to you both!!!🎉

Refinish tub, tile or sinks in less than 1 day with epoxy paint Creates the look and feel of a porcelain tub Durable coating retains color and sticks in high moisture areas. It will make your shower look like new!
This is bigger than the apartments a lot of people live in. Ironically, the next video in my que was about the smallest apartments in NY. 200-300 sq feet! I'd much rather live in an RV.
