Total failure of court security. You're going to let an accused murderer walk a few feet within the family of the murder victim and let him verbally abuse them? Of course that's going to end badly. Should they have jumped out of their seats and attacked him? No of course not. But I can't imagine the amount of rage and pain they felt at that moment and don't blame them for losing it.
In a murder charge hearing, there should be several sheriff's deputies in the courtroom, so this type of situation can be neutralized quicker or prevented.
She's out of luck. Fort Brooks was seized and ultimately razed in the Battle of Waukesha, on October 25, 2022. No soldiers were wounded, and no brave men or women went down that day. They captured the enemy quickly and without sustaining any losses, but the structure was reduced to refuse.
Pretty sure file box forts were determined to be lawful law via Illinois v Allen.... ⚖️👍 Too bad about the Battle, who could have expected them to pillage Fort Brooks!
I’m glad you did the court brawl. I ended up looking up the news coverage on it because it made no sense. The door by the judge was broken so no way to lock anyone out of her hallway. The girl sitting next to her is a high school student who wants to be a judge. No panic buttons. Poor security. Complete security breakdown. Great to see Simpson and Middleton.
🅰️ When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, the student said: 🤓 *”Well it **_was_** *a judge 👩🏻⚖️* …but now I’m thinking *a lion tamer* _or_ *MMA fighter* because it’s *less dangerous.* 🤔 Or maybe I’ll _review law_ on UA-cam 🅱️ On the bright side… *I bet the courthouse upgraded the locks 🔒 and fixed the panic button* by order of the Judge❗️
I notice the judge didn't show panic, she stayed right with the girl, then sent the girl and her clerk to safety as soon as it was possible. But, she stayed to try to defuse the situation. I wonder if the girl still wants to be a judge.
Look here, look listen woman ; if you argue with us single males we will give you the wall and you will remain single and be sad, bitter and lonely. Okay?
Damn Judge Simpson really just puts a smile on your face. He’s sincere, hard when he needs to be, and he keeps things as light as possible and he puts smiles on inmates faces too. He’s a light in the world and Michigan is lucky to have him on that bench.
In SC, what's even scarier, is they ask murder victim's families to come sit up front, right next to the defendant. Yes, there are LEOs, but why would you court that kind of danger? Freaky to watch
I've been there. I had to literally sit on my hands when I saw my sister's killer in court. Even if they lock him away forever their lives will never be the same again. Every holiday, birthday and anniversary is going to be like a gut punch. 5 years later and I still feel it.
I feel for those families. I watch these trials because when they put another one away I feel a little bit better but no matter if they put those killers away forever it won't bring those you love back to you. It just keeps them from doing it to someone else. Even if I never find peace I pray that these families are able to.
So sorry.. I can't imagine how horrible it was. However, it's more healing for the ones that are left to let go.. attachment to the pain and suffering one must release for your healing.. I have lost a couple family members a similar way. Time heals alot. Blessings.
Give a lot of credit for that Judge. Those people were coming towards her podium, but she stood firm. Probably to protect the child that was with her. And then when the potential danger had passed, she kept working to direct the bailiffs to get the courtroom under control. She needs a panic button. Good job.
It's kind of funny to me that I started watching this channel a couple weeks ago and all of a sudden I'm a fan of some judge from somewhere I never been. It's good stuff though!
That inmate was accused with killing 2 people and the family in mourning attended the hearing. The sheriff's should have called in for backup early on simply by reading their body language, the constant rocking back & forth, the loud crying & the gentleman who refused to sit down in back. All signs more sheriff's were needed and preferably young sheriff's, those guys were coughing up a storm from the sheer exertion. Kudos to the Judge who clearly needs a panic button yet she kept her calm.
And next week, the same family that wanted blood will be in court supporting another family member for the exact same thing. It's getting old. It's OK if their family is the victimizer, but not if they're the VICTIMS.
@@barbaradeselle9187 She wasn’t exactly screaming for help. She was directing bailiffs drawn in by the commotion that something serious was going on and their help was needed down the hall.

judge Simpson is the most wholesome judge on the bench, change my mind. dealing with all the nonsense he does on a daily basis, including people that can't figure out how to parallel park, he takes it all in stride and never stops smiling and laughing when he can get the giggles in.
OMG... So... Looks like this went down: "Hey guys..." "Yeah?" "Can Judge Simpson get any more awesome than we already knew he was?" "Why, yes. Yes he can. He also is a deeply loving/caring fan of Doggos/Puppers." (Crowd immediately falls out and dies; Simpson's scricthes/belly rubs ultimately revive all affected).

He's going to be charged with escape because he ran from the uncontrolled mob of people that were after him? Maybe he's a piece of garbage, no clue, but that doesn't seem very reasonable.
Well he murdered 2 of their family members, and called them “B*tches” on the way out…who cares if they charge him with escape, he will never live a day outside of a jail cell anyway
It was said he made a rude comment on his way out…if so maybe he should have kept his mouth shut. You can only inflict so much pain on one family before something bad happens. He’s being charged with murder? He’s done enough…keep quiet.

Judge Simpson is one of my favorite human beings. He has such a good soul.
I'm shocked the judge doesn't have a panic button of some sort
Hope they install one now. It's insane that there isn't one. Should be standard in every courtroom.
I agree
I came to post this exact sentiment. Judge was a sitting duck!
Her yelling for help felt like the most half assed weak attempt to get assistance.
She does have a panic button. She is pushing it when they go through the door by side her and she she is yelling for help she is pushing it.

I thought it was very kind of the judge to comfort the family on their way out.
