Hi, I am 72 years old. I have used cast-iron forever and copper bottom pans. I’ve never had an issue with my glass top as long as you don’t bang the cast-iron on your glass top you’ll be fine.❤❤ that’s all my grandparents used, I am Italian on both sides, this is what I grew up with using. Great videos sweetheart. Loved everything you did. Have a blessed week.

Thank you for your advice about cast iron. I have several pieces I'll now need to season and use on my glass top stove. If it scratches then I'll replace the stove when I sell the house. Thanks again!!

@@peggiebrown5569 you are quite welcome, and if you have to shake it for some reason on your stove just go very gently.. I have had my stove for 16 years and the lesson I learned was banging cast iron on the stove.. you get a deep crack in it, and you have to replace the stove top😒.

I agree!! We have used cast iron on it for the last two years and have not had any issues! But now that I have switched to only cast iron frying pans (which I LOVE, never going back) I'm sure I will get this question more often!

Hello Adaline! Enjoyed your video. I smiled when u shared your homemade wipes. I ve made these for years and even modified this for different situations to be more budget friendly and eco friendly. Ive used these on my baby s changing table with baby value wash clothes, in the bathroom for a grab fast wipe down when company arrives unannounced, i keep some in my car for those trips to get ice cream with kids, i even had a small cantainer in my purse and or diaper bag. Just so many situations to use these! Thank you for bringing back your homemade cleaners content!

Love...love...love all of these! I'm saving this video! Sitting in a small rental home...after selling ours last month to find our land and forever home...excited to get back to more natural cleaners and diy's. I have made my own laundry soap and softener for about 3 years now and wouldn't go back to store bought. Not only so inexpensive but easy to make. I also make my own dryer sheets by cutting a regular sponge in half...I did 6..making 12 smaller sponges and put them in a large open mouth jar with a lid....poured in my homemade softener and it works wonderfully. Just toss one in with the wet clothes and they are amazing at controlling static and also is an additional way to add that fresh smell. Also, you don't get that waxy build up on your dryer lint screen that happens with the store bought dryer sheets. I use the fresh linen essential oil in my softener mix. Will definitely be trying the toilet bombs. I've tried a few times to make the dishwasher pods using an ice tray but have not found a good recipe that works well so still searching. Thanks for all these great ideas Adaline🌻

They will last you forever. I just love the home you moved into lots of space outside to work some magic in making a garden and raising chickens. I have been using EcoVer dishwasher tablets for about 10 years now and absolutely LOVE them. My stainless dishwasher stays clean, my dishes are clean and I have never had any issues. I do NOT wash or rinse my dishes first either. I scrap off food and put right in dishwasher. I used to purchase them on Grove but I dont have subscription any more so not sure if they still have them. I purchase on Amazon
I also use the same "paper towels" you use. I use the same ones for dryer sheets. I roll them individually, add to large jar and add a little vinegar to bottom with essential oils. The vinegar will "wick" up the towels and dampen them. I add one to each load of laundry

Hi Adaline! Love you're beautiful organizing and tips, thank you!:) I just thought you might like to try the metal chain scrubbers for cast iron, you never have to throw them out because of food getting caught in them and them wearing out! You just throw them in the dishwasher, in fact I store mine in the dishwasher and just pull it out to scrub my cast iron and throw it back in the dishwasher! At first, I didn't think they were going to work when I saw them, but they are truly amazing!! Lodge has them online and Amazon too:) God bless you!❤

Not a very important information, I'll tell it anyway though.
    😄
Zwilling is pronounced with a "ts" sound in the beginning.
(Like the ts in nuts for example.)
    So its kinda "Tswilling"
    (not "Swilling" or "C-Willing").
    😅
Zwilling is german for twin. Therefore the double manikin in the logo.

I have used YL dishwasher powder, Norwex, and Sprouts liquid stuff. I’ll have to say, there was cons to all of them. Norwex cleans really well but I felt like it still smelled too chemical, YL cleaned decent but I don’t think it did as good of job as Norwex, and the liquid from sprouts I like because it’s convenient. It does a fairly good job. I’m going to check out the other suggestion in the comments though. Also, those Mr. Clean erasers.. I used some one time and then looked up what was in them.
