Creating labels to 'home' items makes so much sense. I did this in my kindergarten classroom. My students became so efficient and responsible for keeping our space tidy. Organization is a valuable life skill for a 5 year old.
As someone who struggles with clutter, this video is a lifesaver. Your tips are so easy to follow, and they make a huge difference in keeping my space tidy.
We live semi remote, hour and half drive to make the monthly Costco run, fill up our ice chests then head home etc.... We go in with another family we buy a whole cow, who been raised on grass, no GMO feeds or antibiotics, the suppliers does all the butchering, packaging, it save money and you get get to decide on what cuts you want.

Fridge restocks are so satisfying!!!!! The cleaning before the restocking couldn’t be more of a necessity! Marinade spilled in our fridge the other day. Sometimes you just want to close the fridge and ignore it but we all know you just can’t 🤪 lol

Helli, I'm from Germany and first of all, I need to say, some things are very different here in Germany. In the first place the size of the fridge. An average household of four mostly got a fridge half as big as those double-door-fridges. So most of the grocery items come in a smaller size. In my german eyes those Ketchup bottles are for Elephants or something. 😂 Another topic is the kind of packaging. Here in Germany there is more and more paper-packaging with the intension to avoid plastic. In most of the supermarkets are refilling stations, where you can bring your own Bottles from home and fill up as you need it. The advantage for all is to buy only, what you really need or can consume, when it is best. Might be a little more expensive but it is a good way for Singles to buy a little ingredient for a one person recipe, for example if you need only two spoons of coconut oil. I like this concept, cause this needs less storage at home and it is a way to cause less food waste. Did you know, that those fruit things (so-called "Quetschies"/Sqeezies) are a food where you can buy your own Squeeze-botteles an refill it every day? My kids are teenager but we still buy those babyfood-fruit-puree in such little twist off-glasses. And all teenager love those asian ramen noodles and they eat it raw. Is this a big thing in other countries, too? I'd never do this, cause it's completly ugly. So, my weekly grocery shopping is different. What we always need are tons of bread and buns, but not that kind of smooth hamburger buns. In Germany we eat "Brötchen" and those have to crispy. Bread and Brötchen are for breakfast and dinner, the cooking meals are for noon. And what it's funny, peanut butter is a special thing and no must-have at all. In fact what my children put on their bread is cheese in many different varietys.
The term "home pants" made me smile. When I was growing up we had three categories of clothes: play clothes, church clothes, and "going to Grandma's" clothes. The going to grandma's clothes were casual clothes but not stained--a step above play clothes but not quite church clothes. LOL

I need to put labels on everything. I redid my spices and labeled them ! But I need to label items in the fridge…. The fridge is not my favorite right now… I need to reorganize…… We are getting a 1/2 next month!! I’m excited and a bit nervous! First time doing this…. What if I don’t get the correct cuts …. I’m sure I’m just overthinking…. I’m just thinking of getting …. Roasts… steaks …. Hamburger meat …. I’m sure I’m forgetting something else ….. what cuts do you get …. Oooo I’m getting the bones and clean fat ……. I want to make lots of bone broth and render the fat !!! Please if you don’t mind let me know how you get the cow ordered

I like this concept, cause this needs less storage at home and it is a way to cause less food waste.
Did you know, that those fruit things (so-called "Quetschies"/Sqeezies) are a food where you can buy your own Squeeze-botteles an refill it every day?
My kids are teenager but we still buy those babyfood-fruit-puree in such little twist off-glasses.
And all teenager love those asian ramen noodles and they eat it raw. Is this a big thing in other countries, too? I'd never do this, cause it's completly ugly.
So, my weekly grocery shopping is different. What we always need are tons of bread and buns, but not that kind of smooth hamburger buns. In Germany we eat "Brötchen" and those have to crispy. Bread and Brötchen are for breakfast and dinner, the cooking meals are for noon.
And what it's funny, peanut butter is a special thing and no must-have at all. In fact what my children put on their bread is cheese in many different varietys.
The term "home pants" made me smile. When I was growing up we had three categories of clothes: play clothes, church clothes, and "going to Grandma's" clothes. The going to grandma's clothes were casual clothes but not stained--a step above play clothes but not quite church clothes. LOL
Thank you for sharing your life, family & ideas w/us. So precious! And i so agree that you have to continue to maintain spaces that you have organized...just like you would maintain anything else bcuz real life happens everyday 😊
I need to put labels on everything. I redid my spices and labeled them ! But I need to label items in the fridge…. The fridge is not my favorite right now… I need to reorganize……
We are getting a 1/2 next month!! I’m excited and a bit nervous! First time doing this…. What if I don’t get the correct cuts …. I’m sure I’m just overthinking…. I’m just thinking of getting …. Roasts… steaks …. Hamburger meat …. I’m sure I’m forgetting something else ….. what cuts do you get …. Oooo I’m getting the bones and clean fat ……. I want to make lots of bone broth and render the fat !!! Please if you don’t mind let me know how you get the cow ordered
