Whatever.. ..We stopped going to McDonalds because of this issue - With a car full of kids on a hot day the last thing you want to do is wait in a drive through line - only to be told the ice cream machine is broken.. . ..We don't go to McDonalds for any reason now... ...
Bunk. Everyone knows a contract is a two way street. MickyD is not contracting for a nonworking machine. Taylor doesn’t write in the contract “Even if our not working, sometimes working, kinda working, nightmare hard to clean, no-ice cream machines don’t work, you, MickyD, still have to use them.” And MickyD opening 12 new restaurants doesn’t contract for “12 non-working ice cream machines.” We all know “the contract” is to not sell ice cream in the hope we’ll buy something else, something more expensive. Do we care about the “logistical nightmares” of millionaires? Just sell one of your yachts and you’ll be sure to find the way out of your frosty tunnel. Meanwhile, I’ve bought nothing from you, MickyD, in years-one too many a stop for ice cream thwarted. You turn me away again and again, I stop stopping by.
You should also mention that alot of investors are common between Taylor and McDonalds. They know the broken Ice-Cream doesn't cause a huge amount of lost sales, but letting them break and having franchisees pay for repair leads to more revenue for Taylor. Effectively they have the system broken just enough to earn more from franchisees without causing too much lost revenue. Edit : This is less of an issue in India, because of how the local laws work and they would be easily dragged to court and have to pay a lot. I am talking about Taylor and not McDonalds.
McDonald's needs to tell "Taylor" to get their s*** together or hit the road! No other fast food place has this trouble. You can go to Burger King, Sonic, etc. and get ice cream anytime they're open.
Thing is that MCD actually owns Taylor, so theservice is basically another franchise fee they extract. MCD Corporate is in business selling franchises, not burgers.
More foolish of McDonalds for putting up with a crap device that requires only Taylors engineers to put it right. Talk about a licence to print money, Taylors are laughing all the way to the bank, as for McDonalds? Why would you even sign such a contract? Idiots.
This is one of the best new channels that seemed to come out of nowhere. I've become a regular watcher.
Thank you so much!

The older version of this machine was way more reliable.

It's always broken because the employees are too lazy and don't want to clean it at the end of the night.
