Bunk. Everyone knows a contract is a two way street. MickyD is not contracting for a nonworking machine. Taylor doesn’t write in the contract “Even if our not working, sometimes working, kinda working, nightmare hard to clean, no-ice cream machines don’t work, you, MickyD, still have to use them.” And MickyD opening 12 new restaurants doesn’t contract for “12 non-working ice cream machines.” We all know “the contract” is to not sell ice cream in the hope we’ll buy something else, something more expensive. Do we care about the “logistical nightmares” of millionaires? Just sell one of your yachts and you’ll be sure to find the way out of your frosty tunnel. Meanwhile, I’ve bought nothing from you, MickyD, in years-one too many a stop for ice cream thwarted. You turn me away again and again, I stop stopping by.

Never really took off in the U.K. A friend of mine had one but by the early seventies the cassette was the main tape format. Music fans may want to check this out. I read that the Pink Floyd album Animals 8 track version features guitarist Snowy White playing the guitar on 'Pigs on the Wing' and is not on other versions so possibly a collectors piece.

Cryolite is a mineral that contains aluminum, and it works as a flux to lower the melting point of bauxite. Cryolite is now considered extinct in nature, and cryolite used now is man-made from fluorite.

Happy to say I work at a steel mill that makes rebar. Most of this tracks but most modern mills roll the deformations(ribs) into the bar while it is still hot in the final stand. This is before it gets quenched to achieve the proper quality’s for the grade ordered. A quick note, rebar sizes from 3-11 grow in 1/8th inch increments 3 bar being 3/8” 4 bar being 1/2” and so on. Most of these sizes can be spooled rather than cut straight so that fab shops can unspool and bend for customization and select lengths to cut down on waste.

Paper lined drywall is rubbish, it crumbles easily and nothing can be fixed without a stud behind, FERMACELL is the better alternative , it can handle a knock and reasonably heavy things can be screwed onto it without problem. Funny how some poorly performing products have so much popularity.

Did you know that in Ontario, Canada, the major source of gypsum for drywall was De-Sulpho-Gysum, which was not mined from the ground. Instead, it all came from Lambton Generating Station, a clean coal power plant that produced it as a byproduct in the flue gas scrubber process where acid-gas was removed from the effluent stream. How's that for sustainability and eco-responsibility!

Natural gypsum is rarely used in plasterboard because it can contain radiation. Smoke degassing plaster is much better and lowers the CO footprint even better Other materials are also added to the plaster, such as detergent and starch, to facilitate processing. From someone with experience.
