What l can’t understand is why the neighbours on either side didn’t get in and mow together the lawn so it didn’t get to this length! Their lawns look relatively well maintained. Sad that neighbours don’t look out for each other anymore. Great job!! You are both earth angels!
Anyone who makes their communities look better will always get a like and a comment from me. Your hard work is to be commended! I was thinking it might be easier to edge after you’ve mowed and weed whacked. See if it is and save a little time and effort. 😊
Outstanding work. Very eco friendly to put the trimmings back on the lawn and mulch them instead of putting them in a plastic bag to be thrown in the dump. Wish more lawncare people would do that - after all it's only grass and dirt. Why throw it away in a plastic bag? I also love the fact you don't spend time telling us about the yard. You simply go about your work. Thank you. We can figure out what you're doing - no explanation required. Great job.
Thank you Thank you Thank you, finally someone that understands, people tell me all the time “why don’t you bag up the grass clippings?” but i don’t see the pros of doing it unless the customer requests it. I mean it’s it’s own fertilizer! Thats how i see it also man, no need to explain anything, just see us work and you’ll get what we’re doing and why we’re doing it, it’s not rocket science!
A lot of times there is simply too much cut grass to leave lying on top of the lawn. It will turn brown and just sit there, killing the grass below it. When we collect the clippings, we dispose them at a local topsoil companies yard, for free. They compost it and turn it into topsoil. That is a very eco-friendly system. No plastic involved as we use vacuum trucks. And no dead grass left on the customers lawn.
Did that exact thing before I moved to an apartment: didn’t bag the front and back yards and the neighbors “complained” that our lawn was too good. Even got me a couple summer gigs from it too
If you had my dad you'd be doing those cracks every week.! And I'm old. No electricity in our tools! You cut that edge with a thing called an edger. Two spiked wheels on a long stick.. push mower too. No leaf blower, that's what brooms are for. I'm really old! 😋
In india, many roads are blocked by sands and stones in village areas. Love to see you guys care for your clean city. Hope, i can visit once there. Love from India 🇮🇳
Talk about dedicated. Those guys bring lawn mowing to an art form. What a fantastic job they did. I loved how the lead mower went over and and over and over that last section so all the clippings didn't have to be raked. Ahhhhhhmazing.
When I was a kid our back yard was as high as the house we lived in ,I had to ask our neighbor to bush hog that jungle away.Thank God for good lawn care.
Wow lol 🤣 I wanted to watch your older videos and this really shows the age. (Tallest we've cut) This is a casual, pleasant stroll through the park for you guys now.
It always amazes me when seeing these overgrown yards that the neighbors had not stepped in to at least cut the grass near the sidewalk, that's got to impede anyone trying to walk there .
Wow!! such a great job guys!! Thanks for the video, I've just got a ride on and whipper snipper and at the learning stage. Hopefully I will be as good as you guys in a few months
17:48 Good job but I always see it as imperative to ensure the homeowner and neighbors move their vehicles or leave them there at their own risk before doing any mowing. Removes you from any liability..
They shouldn't be they blew all those lawn clippings on their grass. I would be livid at that. You can see the other yards are mowed with bags and the clippings are collected.
@@walkingintruthknowledge7418 Half of them probably don’t bag. They just mow pretty damn often. If you mow often the clippings aren’t going to be that noticeable.
I wouldn't be able to see where I was edging through the high grass! But oh what a joy to see that nice straight edging show up when your trimmer works on the high grass at the edge of the sidewalk lol! Great job. It WAS a change to see it done with the edger before the trimmer lol. Have a great day! P.S. I like this video so much that I've watched it several time! :)
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT JOB!!!! The yard looks really great!! Thanks for sharing another awesome video. I really enjoyed watching it, especially the edging. Your edging is so good it even made that tall grass look good before you mowed it??!! So you still achieved the straight lines and crisp edges. 😊 God bless you both and your families too ... in JESUS Name. ❤️👍🙏👏☺️❤️
This must not be an HOA neighborhood. It’s property like this makes me glad that I live in a community that has an HOA. I am sure the neighbors were glad to see you busy cleaning up the yard finally.
I am so impressed with lawn companies that blow the grass clippings back into the yard instead of into the street. Where I live I see to many companies that blow it into the street. Grass clippings and dirt, often into the traffic, have mercy if the windows are down.
It’s also illegal to do that in alot of states like mine in Virginia. Wet grass clippings and motorcycles don’t mix trust me you will wreck so they made a law about it.
What I was trying to say is you should put your best work out there regardless if rescue or customer, and if that is your best because you can see then so be it sir
By your comment in the video makes it seem like you guys didn’t care if there was good lines at all just because of it being a rescue job. Future reference don’t say dumb things like that in the video and it cuts down on the criticism
i put that comment so that people like you wont come in the comments criticizing. Go check out some of my other videos if you want to see “straight” lines, let me know what you think about those
On your initial edge cut, I don't know why almost everyone uses a weed whacker cutter. I would use a gasoline lawn edger and drop the blade the depth I need and immediately cut the majority of the grass away. Much faster and straighter edges. I've even used a small lawn mower and made a pass or two to eliminate the high grass near the edges. It makes the job a lot easier.
I'm all for edging and trimming first, but I think it would have been much easier to get the initial knock down cut in first, then edge/trim then get a final cut
Man, not a tree, a bush, a flower! New fence so why is the driveway so ratty? Give me a push mower any day to make a lawn look beautiful. Maybe set the blades up high on riding mower and then finish it off with a push mower when grass is this high.
THAT is what teamwork looks like! Working together, complimenting each other, facilitating the needs of the other to get the job done like a well-oiled, maxed on efficiency machine! So well done! The only thing that would have been a nice touch is bagging the hay that's laying on top, but I know that's a continuous topic of discussion! Still, extremely well done!
looks good after such a tall cut, surprised it took so much mulch. .. can you say which strimmer line you use, it seems much more durable than the 3mm round that I use at home, thanks.
I know everyone has their own preference but I've always been curious why people go and edge before cutting the grass. I find it so much easier to cut the grass first, then edge when it isn't 10 feet tall.

I couldn't agree more! I still like watching the video!

How do we know they haven’t in the past? Sometimes the more you do; the less they want to do.

While it is beneficial in areas where they get a lot of rainfall it can lead to diseases in the grass due to thatch build up
Extremely neat!!!. I like the way you picked up all debris, limbs and etc. You all are great.❤🎉😮
No talking, no music, just all action! I wish the other mowing videos would take a hint!

for sure man, thanks for looking out for us. We asked, he said it was fine
I drive a 1995 Honda Accord, if you hit my car in the driveway you'd probably knock some of the rust off of it and I'd tip you $5 bones.
hahaha 😂😂
I use a stili weedeater with a double line on side walks and driveways I run it on low speed around cars

Delighted. They should have went out there and showed them some love($$$). Especially since the yard they just mowed now looked better. Just saying...
Looks almost as good as the neighbors yards, a couple more cuts and you would never known it was bad before.
Great job!

From the looks of the grass and the houses...it looks like you are operating in South Texas.
thats correct!
Should always give straight lines regardless if it’s a rescue or a customer. The work you put out on UA-cam reflects you and the company.
its nearly impossible to give perfectly straight lines when you cant even see the edge sir
What I was trying to say is you should put your best work out there regardless if rescue or customer, and if that is your best because you can see then so be it sir
why wouldn’t we give our best work in everything we do? Of course this was the best we could do, if you don’t see it sorry, but everyone else does

I always run a mower around all the edges first, stop then edge and blow, then cut the interiors. But that's my system. To each their own.
oh good system, thats right man everything runs their own show!
Great tip, thank you. Might use this myself in over grown jobs.

Hi
Good Jobbb I just started riding a lawn mower today it is so fun and satisfying
Hey, oh nice!
I know everyone has their own preference but I've always been curious why people go and edge before cutting the grass. I find it so much easier to cut the grass first, then edge when it isn't 10 feet tall.
Edge, Mow, Trim and Blow that is how your suppose to go; to each his own style though
@@christophermarshall6593 Much easier to Mow, Edge then Blow. People trying to edge 10 feet grass is nuts.
i see where your coming from, i would of done the same, but for the purpose of the video i didn’t
Edge first then blow mess into grass mow on pick up (in this case might pay to mow on discharge first). Once pick up mow done blow to tidy.
That's the way I do it. Mow 1st then trim. Trimming last to get the finer details
