I was told once that there are no stupid questions, however I don't think I completely agree with that. So here goes. Would you recommend buying the 1st or 2nd edition of Inside pixinsight?
Johnathan Edwards if your saying you’re going to buy one of those versions, go for the most recent. PixInsight isn’t like Windows where sometimes you’re working on the older version. You’ll always want up to date info when possible. If you’re asking if you should buy the book at all, that’s more based on your budget and how you learn best. For me, I’m not great at learning via a book. Warren has a great video series you can subscribe to, or you can read a lot on sites like light vortex astronomy or follow videos here in UA-cam. I’ve at least dabbled in all those areas, and still have a lot to learn.

Thank you for the good advice.
