Don't think I've ever seen a fiddle played with a baroque bow before ! Sounds great though in the hands of this brilliant fiddler !....
There was no particular strategy or intent on Tashina's part in using that bow in these videos. It's just what was on hand at the moment and she was unafraid to use it.
Tashina could use a bow made of thread and an old stick and still make that fiddle sound good.
