Really surprised to hear your experience with tubes. I have quite a few palettes I’ve created with various professional brands and haven’t had these issues. The on,y issue I have occasionally is the binder coming out first. In that case I pour the whole tube and remix in a pan.

Glad to hear they’re working for you! I’ve heard it can even vary depending on where you live, the humidity level in your home, etc. But sometimes you just get duds. Although Arteza and Art Whale tubes were problematic along with some Daniel Smith colors, I’ve had really good luck with tubes from Isaro and Schmincke Horadam.

How do you like Rosa Gallery set of 48?

Hi! I haven’t tried Rosa because other reviews put me off. Specifically, the lightfast ratings on several colors are wrong and their color selection in the Amazon sets is more opaque than I’d like. But! Jackson’s has started carrying them open stock, so I’ll order a few colors to give them a test drive. Stay tuned. 😊
