Me and my wife mother-in-law and two kids seven and 11 love this hike going down past the cave, finding a bunch of frogs along the way down to the little creek to check out the tortoise and the back along the creek to the beach.it was amazing we had the beach all to ourselves siting on the coral watching the fish swing through in the tide pools and the kids playing in the water finding sea cucumber and crabs .Had an amazing trip November 2020 to Kauai. Thanks guys for all the cool suggestions .
I did this “stroll” July 2021 and totally worth it! It’s about an hour and a half round-trip from the Hyatt if you don’t stop in chill. Absolutely beautiful :-)
We’ve done the hike but only half way, haven’t gone beyond the golf course. After watching your video we will definitely will stroll/hike the entire way! Thank you for the tour! Kauai is our happy place for sure.
Thank you so so much!!! Really you have no idea how happy it makes us to hear that people love what we are doing. It really take a lot of hard work but we do enjoy sharing this island with everyone so much. Aloha!
Very impressed with your knowledge of the island and the local culture. My wife and I are celebrating our 20th there in about 2 weeks (May 2019). Thanks for sharing! I’m liking and subscribing!
Aloha Buddy! We are so happy to hear that you are enjoying our channel!! Congratulations on 20 years! You are going to have an amazing time celebrating on Kauai :) Thank you so much for liking and subscribing!!
So glad to hear you enjoyed the flight and our video! Thank you for the sub!! We post a new video each week and love suggestions or requests on things you'd like us to feature!
One of our older videos but still one of my favorites! We are learning as we go! I don't know how you are able to post so many videos!! Kudos to you! We both have full time jobs and own a business so it is hard for us to get out a video every week. We do love it though! Aloha!
@@OnHawaiiTime I totally know what you mean lol. Sometimes I wish there is more hours in a day. Making my vids more family time oriented makes it easier for me to get content and editing is like a before bed time ritual already ha ha. But ya, I wish I had more time to go hiking and all that. Keep filming and I'll catch you guys later. Mahalo.
"Who does number 2 work for?" LOL! Love your movie quotes and you guys have great videos. Love all the history and beautiful camera/video shots. Keep them coming!
So happy that someone actually caught that!!! :) haha! There's another video out there with a movie quote.....do you know which one and what the quote is?? ;) Challenge time! Thank you so much for watching. It really means a lot to us to hear that people enjoy our videos. A LOT of hard work goes into each one but we love doing it! Aloha~
On Hawaii Time Santa, I know him! From Elf 😄. I binged watched your videos one day and remember it was the first video I watched on Old Koloa. My favorite town💕. We will actually be there in April. We usually stay at Kuhio Shores Condos and love it there with Lawai beach so close with awesome snorkeling! We will be staying at Poipu Sands this trip with friends celebrating their retirement for a month and our 25th anniversary. Watching your videos trying to find new things to do. Maybe renew our vows island style if you have any recommendations on that? Maybe a new video idea?
Renew your vows down at Shipwrecks!! There are plenty of officiants on the island. I don't have anyone specific I can recommend. Perhaps just google vow renewal on Kauai? I'll ask around in my circle and see if I can find someone to recommend ;) Definitely a great video idea!! Wanna be in a video? ;) hahahahahaha!
Thank you for watching Lisa! May is right around the corner!! Have you been counting down? ;) hahaha....silly question, right?! We use a Cannon M50 and our GoPro Hero 7.....and sometimes my iPhone 7!
Love the videos guys! By far the most informative and I’ve seen a lot lol. Prepping myself, I’ll be on Kauai’s south shore at Kiahuna Beach May 3-6 after Oahu for 4 days and Maui for 4 days. Any suggestions other than in these videos based on timing?
We so appreciate the positive feedback and thank you so much for subscribing!! Looks like you are going to be doing a lot of island hopping and probably trying to pack in as much as possible at each stop so you know what I would suggest when you get to Kauai??.....just chill at the beach. You are staying on the south shore which is the best!!! We like to call it "Sunny P". Just get yourself beach chairs, an umbrella and enjoy the gorgeous ocean. You could take a surf lesson if that's something you are into or you can even snorkel right there at Poipu beach. There are a couple places right in Poipu where you can rent all that gear...we talk a little bit about that in our Etiquette video. Each morning you are almost guaranteed to see either a monk seal or sea turtles resting up on the beach at Poipu. And of course, helicopter tour....it is by far the very best way to see the entire island!!
Aloha and mahalo guys! That’s definitely an option but everyone says Kauai is the most beautiful island so I was thinking beach more for Maui but you surely know better than I would. My buddy lives on Oahu and he said I have to do the Napali Coast cruise on a catamaran. He’s been all over the world, Great Wall of China, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, etc. and he said it’s easily in his top three greatest things he’s ever seen. So that, beach, helicopter tour, beach, and then if you could only do one other thing on Kauai what would you do? Lol sorry, I really don’t mean to be pushy ;)
If you are up for adventure then you are right, don't just sit at the beach...do that in Maui then come to Kauai and explore :) Yes, definitely do the catamaran of the NaPali. Have you seen our Sunset Dinner Cruise video?? Boat cruise, helicopter tour and drive up to the Waimea Canyon (early early AM) and get a hike in...Nu'alolo trail hike will give you an incredible view of the NaPali from the cliffs....weather permitting of course. You wouldn't want to do this hike if it is rainy. So you'll see the NaPali from land, sea and air!
We use the Canon M50 with the stock lens. Brodi bought a couple of other lenses.....50mm and er...I'm not sure what the other one is. This camera stuff is all new to us. We are just figuring things out as we go :) haha!

Ahhhhh... love this video! A stroll is more my speed than a hike any day! Love all your videos and hope we make it to Kauai to see all this beauty!!
