Hey girl! I feel the same way! 😫. I was a young, single mom and newly an empty nester. Also trying to figure out what to do with my life now. I was just telling my friend there’s other paths to life than the American dream (college, marriage, two kids and a dog). There’s gotta be more. Thank you for this. Definitely relate!
Thank you for confirming that I’m not going crazy ! 😂 There’s some people that cant fathom the fact not everyone wants the “American Dream”…. I’ve been called “ungrateful” and more. Nothing wrong with going that route but I know there’s more in store for me. I just need to figure out what it is.

Girl!🙏🏽❤️ First, you are gorgeous! Second, this video is SPEAKING to me! Especially when you mentioned right brain vs left brain… and I had my baby in 2020 (she’s 4 now). Being a parent COSTS money and 99% of jobs available aren’t cutting it. I tried my best with school too, but I’m so creative and always thinking of business ideas. I felt stuck and confused for most of the time I was in school.. like how can I do both? Lol I’m just now seeing clarity unfold in my life (started college 2013, dropped out twice)…school is not for everyone. And you can make so much money doing beauty and personal development content! I feel the samee. I’m 20 and just finished my sophomore year in college and I’m feeling a lil lost in what direction I wanna go in life and how to get there. I feel like I’m losing myself at college. I wanna be independent so bad to figure myself out but I’m also so scared to be thrown in the real world lol. But thanks for sharing this video🫶🏾
Heyyyy! I would take some time over summer break to really think about what you enjoy and what makes you happy. Think about what you naturally gravitate towards. Most of the time we think we want to do something until we actually start to do it. Since I was a child, I thought I wanted to go to college to become a pediatrician because I love working with children but when I got in college I realized it wasn’t for me. I don’t think I started to learn myself until I was a young adult. I sat and thought about all of the extracurricular activities I enjoyed while I was in school and I realized it was always something creative… art, music, dance, modeling, cheerleading pom-pom… I’ve always been a creative and didn’t realize it. You’ll figure it out just take your time. Congrats on finishing your second year and good luck.!! ❤️

Im def going to take this time back home to reflect and find what truly makes me happy. Thanks for reminding me to be patient because thats what I really need. @@keesh_couture I’m an artist and designer. I work in an office, therefore understand you and your daughter. Artsy jobs are far and in between, so you have to find a way or make one.
I believe artists are meant to create their own lanes. You can still have your office job but maybe do something outside of work where you can express yourself more freely. My daughter wants to go into animation. She’s always talked about working for Disney or something similar but I always encourage her to have her own endeavors on the side. Don’t depend solely on Disney… create your own cartoon as well. Same for you. I hope you find your way! ❤️

Oh my gosh i feel the same way.....i just found your video. I am 32 years old this year with a 4 year old daughter doing it on my own and i just feel so stuck. I too do so much but i don't know what i should be doing that i truly love and it's frustrating because it's like everyone else got it all figured out. I don't want to be out here chasing this "dream" either that society tells us we have to. I just want to find my true purpose, be genuinely happy, live simply and not trying to meet society expectations.❤
Right?! I don’t feel that path is for everyone. I just want to do what I love and be happy as well. I don’t want to have to dread Mondays or only be excited for Fridays. I want to be happy every day of the week ❤
Damn, at first I thought that you're only 18! With all the gentle respect I have, you look nice. Anyway, I just hope you will figure things out even tho it's hard. Try journaling. Really useful thing to help you reflect on your state of mind/emotions.

You’re so me hun. I’m 30 with a toddler moved out and lost my job a month later. I have one unsuccessful business under my belt and so many short comings. BUT God. I don’t know what I’m doing with myself I cry every so often but just remember confusion is part of the journey hang in there. You are def not alone, thanks for sharing just subscribed! ❤️
