Why pre-nup is not a thing in India? Clearly urban Indians have their negotiables/ non-negotiables chalked out before marriage. The only time I got alone with my husband was at the hotel. room. Random people are not going to have breakfast, lunch n dinner with you. N sit with you . Talk to you all day.

You still spend quality time together.. Even around friends.. And at night you have plenty of alone quality time..
And still if you feel like you wanna spend time alone with your husband.. You can plan some solo trip again.. Communication is key in relationship..

Now I have left him to spend time with his friends.

Sorry to hear that. But I believe if you try to become financially independent I think the confidence will automatically grows. Start from small but try to start something from home be it an youtube cooking channel, may be teach sewing, etc. You will find many options if you search online about passive income I know it's not easy but all I am saying is please try. There is no way someone should live like you are living, you deserve better. Please try, don't lose faith. I hope you come out of this some day
