All i can say is as much as library is a conducive place, it can get quite crowded sometimes and sometimes theres really not enough space allocated to those who r studying...i will take sengkang library as an example since i live near it. It can get crowded esp in afternoons, and the environment can srsly be noisy and crowded sometimes with all the kids running ard. Sometimes u might not be able to find a seat since theres so little space allocated to the "teenage section" (sometimes i get chased out of my seat since i sat in "childrens' section") and the worst part is U CANT EAT OR DRINK. Well these are just my personal experience and thoughts on some public libraries
The Library@esplanade is also pretty good.Considering it’s a library(and dedicated to the arts), it’s typically not very crowded. The National Library/Lee Kong China Reference Library isn’t actually that bad if you don’t mind sharing a table with about 10 other people.Everyone there is studying so it’s pretty silent
NLB don't have wifi(other than wireless@sg which don't work) and like no power socket, and is quite hard to study with a group of friends since is too quite in there to discuss
Do they have a house to stay? At home better than you spend so much money to buy drink to hog fastfood. Not adviceable cos alot customer during peak hours. Now student feel entitle for hog the seats. If they want quite place go to cemetary.
@@ainadena7318 give me a reason why it's NOT conducive? you have annoying and noisy little brother and sister? always disturbing you? just go into your room, lock the damn door. problem solved. money saved.
@@ainadena7318 OK in that case then why not study in a libary? First of all it's FREE second of all you can sit for 12 hours and nobody would chase you away
why pay $10 for a table in a cafe when you can pay $0.00 for a table in a LIBRARY?

The reason why we study outside because home is not a conducive place to do that.

Easy for you to say. You don't have other responsibilities other than studying I guess. @@BenjaminLee2009

@@ainadena7318 also if you have responsibilities, you should face up and solve them instead of cowering away to an expensive cafe to study.
