Cathedral City - Our Cheese & Ham Hash Browns " NEW " - £4.50p - Iceland - Food Review with Layla

- I bought these Hash Browns as part of the Iceland 3 for £10. 00 " deal " to review ! So what were they like ?
The Hash Browns were very nice and worked well with the Cheese and Ham - very tasty but they are not worth £4.50p for ten - it is a lot of money for what they are and another rip off if you buy them on their own ! the " Deal " is still expensive but does make it slightly better as you can mix and match products - The quality is not in doubt but the price is ! I would have them again but it would have to part of the " deal " I can recommend them if you are feeling flush and you fancy a treat - I score them 8 out of 10 for taste and quality ! the price however is far too high .

They look nice, but i seem to pass the Cathedral city products in Iceland simply because of their price.
The ham bits were naughty! I would have hoped larger bits of ham😊
That corner where Cookie sleeps must be her absolute favourite place lol.
We spent a relaxing Sunday booking an overnight stay in Reeth Yorkshire yay! Something to look forward too!

Good Afternoon Anna, thank you for the comment - I don't buy Cathedral City very often simply because of the price - the quality is not in question but the price is really far too high for what they are - The Ham content was very minimal and I had hoped for more of it but I guess they can get away with it ! I would like to know how many of their products are sold in a week through Iceland as every time I go in there there are always many more staff than customers ! Cookie loves the old laptop where she sleeps so I just leave it there for her to rest on ! as I type she is fast asleep on it ! I hope that you have a Lovely time in Yorkshire ! don't forget your passport - Reeth is a beautiful little village in the Dales ! we are blessed to have so many lovely places to visit here in the North of England - Wishing You , Mark and the Family a lovely evening :-)
@@grahamjenkinson3487 you couldn't get me on a plane if you paid me!!!! Mark would fly ... if i let him ..... he's not a scaredy cat like me. But as we know lots of beautiful places to visit in England 🇬🇧

@@annacollier2936 Good Morning Anna, thank you for the reply , I have been on a few planes but I have no interest in going abroad now ! I am very happy here in the UK there is so much to see and so many beautiful places - Cookie loves it on the laptop for whatever reason I do not know as there are a few cat beds around which she refuses to use ! strange creatures ! Yeah as much as i like the cathedral city range i find them rather pricey so i only buy once in a blue moon " hope ur well geez 🤘🏻
Good Afternoon Hawkwind77 , thank you for the comment - I agree with you and I very rarely buy them simply because of the cost which I believe is far too much for the products but the quality is usually very good there have only been a few that I would not have again ! Hi Graham - I thought you'd won the lottery when I saw the price! I think some Bog standard Hash Browns Although I'm also not a fan of any hash browns really - some cut-up ham and a bit of grated cheese of over the top and I think you can recreate the taste at half the price. Nice to see Cookie sneaking in the shot and of course the Scene stealer herself Cheers Paul
Good Morning Paul, thank you for the comment - the price is ridiculous to be honest for what they are ! I have never really liked hash browns and how they have managed to get on a full English breakfast beats me - As you say you could recreate these quite easily with a bag of £1.00 hash browns from Iceland and about a £1.00's worth of cheese and ham ! people are paying for the name and it is just a rip off ! Hi Graham, on the packet it looks like very thin slices of ham in there, but was it more like random little bits? They look nice, i do like hash browns nice & crispy, but yes they did look a bit greasy. Nice to see Cookie in the land of nod in a little world all of her own 🥰
Good Morning Kate, thank you for the comment - the ham content was very disappointing to be honest and was really noticeable in the taste - they were greasy which puts me off as I like to try and stay clear of greasy and fried foods for health reasons - Cookie loves it there on the old laptop and sleeps the day away on it !
