I wonder if it works the same way nukes do, if you extend your arm and your thumb to cover a nukes mushroom cloud you are far enough away to survive it, if you can't you die. i wonder if supernovas work the same way.
My first thought was that a person would withstand much higher pressure than what is needed to blow away gasses in the atmosphere (which could have ended life on Earth) - but on second thought; those gasses would have needed to be thrown away very large distances to escape the gravity of the Earth, which im guessing would have required a pretty strong blast 🤔
I think I just saw one, it's nightime where i live and there was a bright yellowish light where in the sky for the fraction of a second and I don't know what else it could be🤯
Celestial times when it comes to stars going supernova can not be predicted within a few months period. The star is on its last legs, but that time period from our perspective could be days, months, years, centuries, millennia, epochs.

Nova lasts days not seconds
Nova , not supernova
Kind of a huge distinction, isn't it?

Lies
Yes , it's just a little nova , not supernova.
Barely noticeable
