How To Fix iPhone Bootloop - Stuck At Apple Logo After Water Damage!

- If your iPhone is stuck at Apple logo trying to boot and just restarting it's better to first try key combination press and release quickly volume up after that volume down and hold power button. If this is not working for you maybe you have damaged Face Id sensor flex cable. Most of times when your phone have been slightly water damaged it damage Face Id sensor through earpiece hole and phone need to opened and flex cable disconnected. Just follow video instructions.

Thank you for your video. My son walked into the water with his phone in his pocket which in turn created the boot loop. I was able to open up the phone and disconnect the face ID module and now his Iphone 11 works again, thanks to your video. Subscribed and liked!

Worked great!
The day before the boot looping started, I noticed a bit of condensation inside the front-facing camera.
Thus, I suspected water damage to the FaceID module. Disconnecting it and reassembling the phone, then performing a software update via MacBook did the trick!

Just did this on a iphone 8 plus and it worked wonderfully. I started with the face id camera ribbon cable and that was it, phone powered up straight away without bootloop. Many thanks, shukran!

my phone has a similar issue. since the Face ID and flex cable don't work would I need to leave the flex cable unplugged?
If your auto brightness is working leave it plugged.

A plastic pry tool and small hexagon screwdriver and y shaped screwdriver they are specific for iPhones you can find them everywhere.

what glue do you use? is it necessary?
I use standard glue CP-0002 for that kind of work. It's good to use it because it adds some protection.
Can you change the face id in repair shop??
You can but it won't work because it's hardware coded.
For me its working if i,m open the sim tray and blowing air in it
Sounds like water damage better open the phone and clean it to prevent corrosion.

Yes, it's water damage. Corrosion is start doing it's job.

Not at all but as the iphone was opened you should check for corrosion on the other connectors.

Hello I had a query - My IPHONE 12 pro also experience water damage and the face ID has stopped working. The phone boots fine. But after every 10 mins or heavy load, its reboots again. It comes back to home screen and then starts working fine again for another 10-15 mins and then again this process repeats.
What do you think I can do?

@@shantidevi3334 yeah, i opened it, mine was already kinda opened, cuz adhesive was bad. The green tint just disappeared by itself in 2 weeks. My faceid doesnt work, but camera works, I might try to connect it back and see what happens

Rice is absorbing moisture but corrosion will stay. Always better to open it and clean it.

My kids and I were at the splash pad last weeka and i left my iPhone in the stroller, my stroller got soaked and my phone submerged in water. It worked fine for a little while then all of a sudden wouldnt turn on just kept turning the apple logo on and off. All 3 of my daughter baby pictures and videos are on there and i will do anything to get them back. Im going to try this when i get home, wish me luck.
