Face id stopped working and screen went completely black about a week ago then it started boot looping and wont recharge now ahhhhh
Hello I had a query - My IPHONE 12 pro also experience water damage and the face ID has stopped working. The phone boots fine. But after every 10 mins or heavy load, its reboots again. It comes back to home screen and then starts working fine again for another 10-15 mins and then again this process repeats.
What do you think I can do?
My iphone 12 pro max randomly shut of and boot looped. while watching your video it undid itself. but the brightness issue is still going on. its been 10 mins and hasn't went back to normal. im gonna restart my phone after this to see if that does anything but either way. do you have a way to fix that? the scroll tab doesn't change it either
I didn’t understand one thing. Do I have to switch both parts or only the one that melted in your video
Cause I have the exact same problem
Only the one I mentioned is required for Face ID
So i have to Switch the Face ID Sensor from one proximity Sensor to the other Right ?
And in the Face ID Sensor is a Chip thats connected to the mainboard thats Why we have to change them from one to the other if i got it right

Hi firstly I want to say great work and I'm impressed with your video. My iPhone 12 crashed and its stuck in booting then shutting down. It gets warn and doesn't charge when its plug using a cable its only charging when is using a wireless charger but doesn't get to max capacity. What can I do to fix it?

can a dead battery cause this i haevnt had my phone or afew months now got a new screen and iuts boot looping i cant unplug my proxim ses to test as ive stripped the bots so i cant take of the metal cover i'm worried to drill them as i had to drill the front speaker and proxim senser of and it boot loops

Good evening, I have an apple watch series 4 44mm and it has a problem with the microphone, can you fix it;
For the most part I can fix this issue as long as the mic is the cause and it’s not an issue with the audio ic inside the motherboard. Most of the time it’s just the mic.

If I could get you right What you are saying is that I should get a new sensor flex and change only the sensor of the old flex to the new one right
I had change the flex but I want the face id to work
I think water got into the speaker and messed up the proximity sensor. stuck in boot loop. when I heat up the phone to a point where i get the temperate warning, it skips the boot loop and powers up. phone then works for under an hour after it cools down, it then goes looping on its own again thereafter. an Asurion expert stated that its my face id, but face id works great when i get the phone to work... theres a short for sure i just dont know where...
The proximity sensor might be corroded a bit and although it doesn’t actually do anything for Face ID it is part of the circuit which means it needs be retained/fixed to keep Face ID and not have the issues you’re experiencing
@FIXDPHONES you sir saved me $600. My phone repair guy at Asurion was charging me $150 to replace the back screen, $100 for a new battery, and $350 TO REPLACE MY FACE ID!! after i learned from watching your vid that it was the proximity sensor, i ordered a sautering kit, learned how to sauter in a few minutes, ordered a new proximity sensor wire, did everything your video showed - it worked! I also ended up buying a better battery for $40, replaced it in like 5 minutes since i already had the phone opened. I also bought a new back screen from amazon with an apple logo which my guy couldnt do for $14. Took me 20 minutes to replace that after I got all the confidence i needed from fixing the proximity sensor... oh i did snap the proximity wire when i tried to water proof the phone so i had to buy another one and do the whole thing again- all in all cost me under $100!

Thanks to your video i was able to get into my old phone and do a cloud backup! Both Apple and a phone repair store said i was SOL and had to restore the phone!

I have the same issue and at the Apple Store, they just proposed that I swap my iPhone with a new one for 750 Euros !!

I disconnected the próx sensor, no boot. Then the charge port, no boot. How do I check the power button?
It’s going to be a motherboard issue if you got no boot like you’ve described. Schematics and a multimeter is what you need now. I’d start testing on the battery connector pins.

Sounds like an issue with the charge port. There are three components that will send a iPhone into a 3 minute boot loop. Prox, charge port, and Power button. In your case you’ll just have to test and see.

Hi there, I have an iphone 12 pro max that was running beta software and got stuck in a boot loop. Took it to apple and tried DFU mode and 3rd party software. Nothing would take it out of boot DFU. Eventually I found something that could revert it back to the bootloop but that's it.
They told me something like the logic board is fried and want $650 to replace the phone.
Do you think this is a problem you could solve?

Hi, same thing happened to me, my issue was a dead NAND chip. Lookup and research error 9 and 4013, and see if you have the same issue. If so, you need to remove and put in a new nand chip. It’s quite difficult, and requires an expert. I did it and it fixed my phone. All data gets removed though.
