So the Sonos Roam costs $179. The Move 2 is $449. Big difference. But then, you get what you pay for. This video didn't (and should have) explored the fact that both these speakers connect via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and are Apple Airplay 2 compatible. As to the competition, the Bose Smart Speaker 500 costs $380, competes with the Move 2. I own one and it is superb but it is NOT portable. The Bose Portable Smart speaker is, well, portable, and only costs $20 more than the model 500. And as to Bose vs. the Sonos Roam, the Bose Soundlink Revolve 2 is very nice but the Roam wasn't available when I purchased the Revolve 2. If I were to make a purchase today, I'll probably choose Sonos. I own a Sonos Soundbar Beam, and just love it. But since Covid, Sonos prices have risen to a higher frequency! :)
I have a Sonos amplifier hard wired to speakers for my outdoor family room. Can i paiir one of these speakers to be added to the existing amplifier via bluetooth?
2 different price points and sound quality. If you are going on the move, why buy the roam over something else thats way cheaper. Especially since outside, wifi isnt going to be a thing.
Really disappointed with Sonos on the Move. Had one and the battery wouldn't charge. The problem must have been bad because they sent out a whole printed, packaged kit with a battery replacement and tools. Cradle never charged properly and the speaker was hard to connect to. I like the Play 5's but the move is a flop.😐
Looks like a small stream to me and there are a lot of people who have speakers on hikes… For those that do, please be aware that others enjoy the silence of nature so be aware of your surroundings.

Great Job 👍🏻💪🏻
Can these be used in a Sonos WiFi environment with Sonos 5 speakers?
"Use it on its own or as part of a whole-home sound system with other Sonos speakers."

I love my Move 2. Sonos sounds far better than Bose.

First
Video example - ridiculous - nobody like you, go with a speaker through "the jungle", jump above a small river
I do.
