Its like the viewers can actually relate to the character's emotions, especially "rick". He's definitely the best character.

The reason this song works so well in anime version is because the chord progression it uses is almost the same as the popular "Odo Shinko" progression used in many japanese pop songs. The progression itself in C minor is: FM7-G7-Em7-Am. The notes create a hopeful and nostalgic feeling.

I remember the scene when he used his final attack "Final Roll : Rick Roll" It was awesome and I cried cause he saved his love one, such a monumental moment of the show and its one of the best moments of the anime.

My biggest regret here is I never recorded my niece's reaction. I let her listen to this (except the starting drum part) and then asked her "what anime opening was this again??" she's bobbing her head as she's trying to recognize which anime was this from, humming until the chorus part comes. Her smiling face turned into disappointment and said "that ain't no anime opening!". That was my best rickroll prank I've pulled off.

i loved this moment but i preferred s2 when they brought out the never gonna let you down arc. that one scene where he reunites with his old master to prove his worth was so good. brought a tear to my eye.
In my opinion this is one of the rare occasion where the anime was better than the manga because the manga can’t replicate the absolute banger of a soundtrack, musical performances and visual representation that the anime pulls off beautifully. Although you can make arguments that the character development is more emotional in the manga I believe that the anime still executes it very well. The animation, music, characters, plot and everything else are 10/10. Highly recommend reading and watching if you can do both.
one thing i dont like about the anime is how rick wasn’t even animated to be dancing, they really gave no budget to animating the dance, at least the manga had motion picture
for real! i love the character designs, and the plot is amazing. i don’t understand why so many people hate on it, the main character never gives anyone up or let’s anyone down, which is a great personality trait!

This type of rickroll never hurt people because most of the times when people get rickrolled, they get mad but when they got rickrolled first and then go through another level. They never have any complaint anymore.

It's likely not gonna happen, the instrumental used is only 2:09, they originally did the whole song but the beat just isn't there to do the rest, it's a shame but we still have a damn good song.

In my opinion this is one of the rare occasion where the anime was better than the manga because the manga can’t replicate the absolute banger of a soundtrack, musical performances and visual representation that the anime pulls off beautifully. Although you can make arguments that the character development is more emotional in the manga I believe that the anime still executes it very well. The animation, music, characters, plot and everything else are 10/10. Highly recommend reading and watching if you can do both.

one thing i dont like about the anime is how rick wasn’t even animated to be dancing, they really gave no budget to animating the dance, at least the manga had motion picture

@@illu6556 hanzi is the same as kanji, mandarin itself is so hard because there’s both simplified and traditional, I don’t know why they had to incorporate it into Japanese aswell, just creates more suffering
@@xivering exactly, Japanese has 2 alphabets & they're not that hard to remember; but taking kanji into account, having 2 alphabets just makes it a little more confusing. I don't understand why they copied it anyway since it just makes it harder to remember since there's so many (prob 50,000 kanji, apparently, & even my grandpa can't use them all to make his sentences grammatically correct.), I'm just assuming they either did it for aesthetic, some procrastinator thought it would make writing easier/shorter or someone sold it to them as an "original alphabet" for quick moneys. Either way, not cool ancestors, not cool..

I have the plot right here: it’s about Rick astley as a high schooler and he’s very drawn to music. But no one will support him. He’ll keep on practicing until he can be on his dream talent show. Musical showdown and while to complete his goals he meets friends along the way and more people start to support him. There ya go. EDIT: the girl is one of the characters that Rick Astley meets along the way. Also we will only make sub episodes. JUST KIDDING we will make the sub episodes first then the dub episodes last. Because dub just ruins the anime. But this is my opinion don’t hate on me.
