Hate to break it to you, but the Angels were a baseball team LOOOOONG before 1961. They were part of the PCL. They had spring training on Catalina Island when it was owned by the Wrigley's.
Be thankful and lucky that the heavenly team known as the Angels 😇 won 🏆 the World 🌎 Series in 2002, 41 years into the league. I was thrilled that they(the Angels 😇 became winners 🏆of the World 🌎 Series.
