To be honest there has only been 3 breeds from Greenfire that I’ve gotten that I’m happy with. I’ve bought about 12 dozen hatching eggs from them through eBay and most if not all were on the edge of being too old to hatch. The birds that I like are the Shinedular Rhodebars and Spitzhauben. All others have been mediocre birds at best in my opinion.
I have one Greenfire Schijndelaar pullet and 3 newborn chicks. Can you do a video on your experience with this breed? There aren't hardly any videos on UA-cam on Schijndelaars! It's really frustrating. I want to learn more but the info just isn't out there. At least not in English. 😒
I know your pain with finding information on the breed. I've 5 of them right now, with three pullets. I'm going to do a video soon to give you some information about them.
The hatch rate was on par for winter time hatching and getting eggs via the USPS in winter. Humidity was a bear to keep up. Temps on my incubator was right on par, but viability was not the greatest at that time. I've got a full 56 egg incubator set from them right now and will candle them Today and post a video. Temps and Humidity has been awesome this time, both in shipping and the incubator. :) I managed to get 18 of the 36 eggs I set to hatch on this run. I'll let you know in the next video about this run!
We’re you please with the birds? I’m thinking about ordering Shetland hens from them.

How was your hatch rate on this batch? I am looking to ordering some eggs from them myself.
